If there is a segment that is in full growth, that is the one High-performance SUVs. Now that everyone wants SUVs, luxury brands have been forced to bring out their own. And we could not expect anything less than to see exemplary performance. Now that the Aston Martin DBX707 has been renewed and the Gaydon firm is still fully in Formula 1, it was time for a special launch. Aston Martin DBX707 AMR24 Edition follows the competition’s lead with some new features.
We had previously seen another DBX707 inspired by the Formula 1 Medical Car, although now All the new features are added of the British model. New paint options are added with the tones Podium Green, Onyx Black either Neutron White which will be highlighted by details in lime green or trophy silver. The visible carbon fiber moldings and the Aston Martin Racing Green or AMR Lime brake calipers cannot be missing. The wheels are the new Fortis 23 inch in satin or gloss black.
The cabin of the new Aston Martin DBX707 AMR24 Edition also features a unprecedented configuration. With the Inspire Sport finish, it is available in a monotone onyx black, but also in a combination of black and Eifel green, always with contrasting lime stitching.
You can choose options like extended carbon fiberdetails in dark chrome or titanium mesh. The brand logo is made of aluminium and engraved on the door sills, while other details are carefully selected. The equipment can be really complete, with a luxury Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
What doesn’t change is the chassis and the mechanics. 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that gives it life. Always linked to the nine-speed automatic transmission (also borrowed from Mercedes) and an all-wheel drive system, it improves many aspects. The power is 707 hp and 900 Nm of torquewhile its performance is on a par with that of supercars. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 310 km/h.
