Perhaps it is poetic justice that having Aprilia in the middle of the hurricane with the controversy of Jorge Martín, and the lack of performance of the RS-GP to disconnect from them, Bezecchi has achieved for the brand of Noale his first victory for more than a year. But there is no doubt that the United Kingdom GP has been the most unpredictable of what we have been from season, and that we come from the chaotic GP of France.
But in Le Mans the conditions of the track were those that were for the rain, but in Silverstone everything was written about dry. Also the qualifier in which Fabio Quartarrao chained, Eye, his third consecutive pole. With Álex Márquez and Pecco Bagnaia behind him.
The Sprint Race was very important for Sunday
There is life after Marc … Álex Márquez dethrones his brother and takes the sprint 🔥👑
To the seventh was the defeated in 2025 😳 Bagnaia ended sixth and Quartararo seventh!

But the peak of Saturday was the Sprint Race, and here things seemed to return to their usual channel. Álex Márquez imposed his rhythm to win with Marc suffering as he has done all weekend, with Fabio Di Giannantonio in a third position and with a Bezzecchi frame that, leaving in 11th place, ended fourth with a brilliant comeback. Bagnaia, who was very strong at the beginning of the race ended up sixth, fighting with a Fabio Quartaro that also accused problem in the tires.
And this point, how the soft tire worked was transcendent of what was to come on Sunday. And it is that part of the grill did not hesitate to choose the middle tire instead of the soft, but that choice supposed that they would have more complications at the beginning of the race and that, who opted for the soft tire would have an advantage that, in theory, they would lose as the laps advanced.
A GP not suitable for sensitive hearts
It was then that the race began and, with it, chaos. Álex Márquez, from the second position, was placed first and in full braking of the first curve was left to the ground. Although it was important, more important was that Alex was well, because incomprehensibly, the escape of curve 1 is paved, without gravel and the motorcycle hit the wall.
As Alex commented after the race, if that fall had been on the return launched the consequences could have been others, mentioning Carlos Tatay. An incomprehensible situation that highlights the safety mechanisms of the championship.
Lucky blow for the Márquez brothers 😯

But returning to the race, the shocks did not end there because shortly after Aleix Espargaró went to the ground, with his motorcycle taking Franco Morbidelli ahead in a multiple fall that was very important. And while the area of that fall was being cleaned, in another part of the Marc Márquez circuit he went to the ground as well.
When it seemed that everything was lost to the Márquez, the remains of oil on the track as a result of the fall of Morbidelli and Espargaró forced the race to stop. Not having reached the three laps completed all pilots can go out again without the need to recover their motorcycle, so after chaotic minutes nothing that had happened had direct transcendence.
Although it did have it indirectly, because the Márquez left more cautious in this “second half” and Fabio Quartararo brought the best of himself to begin to cement what seemed like an incontestable victory. Flying with its M1, flowing through the mythical Silverstone curves and also leaving Miller, Zarco, Bagnaia behind, that shortly after he went to the ground in the purest Ducati style, and with a Bezzecchi frame in full comeback but without real options.
And so we arrived at the Ecuador of a race that seemed quite clear, with Quartararo with all the options, Bezzecchi leading the podium to the podium and Zarco pointing to third position. At that start of the second half of the race everything seemed stable and, suddenly, the rear suspension of the M1 of Quartarar stopped working. With 5 seconds of advantage to the front, with the victory in his hands, the mechanics left the French without a deserved victory that, seen what was seen from Jerez, should not take long to arrive.
Just listen. The shouts of desolation of Fabio Quartararo after leaving #Britishgp 🇬🇧

The desolation of Fabio and Yamaha became an excessive emotion in Aprilia because Marco Bezzecchi from the 11th grade position reached the maximum possible, race head. From that moment Bezzecchi dedicated himself to managing the difference with a solid Johann Zarco that crossed a second goal. Marc Márquez and an impressive Franco Morbidelli, who after the fall returned to the track with all the desire, fought for third position and it was Marc who succeeded.
Álex Márquez, more discreet than expected by circumstances, did not make the error of France and gave the 11 points of the fifth position. Pedro Acosta, the best of KTM this weekend, achieved the sixth place with Miller, Aldeguer, Di Giannantonio and Mir completing a top10 that varies greatly from what we are used to. And it is to dry seeing the best third Ducati and thanks to the circumstances it is not normal. If the M1 of Quartarrao had not failed we would be talking about a podium without Ducati and that would have been totally anomalous.
A bestial end of Marc Márquez! 🔥 Face to face with Morbidelli and leaving the soul to finish third and on the podium 🤯

After the United Kingdom Grand Prix and with this victory of Bezzecchi and Aprilia that arrives at a complicated moment for the brand, everyone puts their eyes on Motorland Aragón, where in two weeks the eighth appointment of the season will be played. As who does not want the thing, the first third of the year has already been consumed and Marc Márquez is a leader with 196 points, 24 more than his brother and 72 more than Bagnaia, which is the third classified.
