BMW Motorrad Netherlands has recently presented two exclusive editions within the GS range: the R 1300 GS Aurum Edition and R 1300 GS Adventure Aurum Edition. Both models are offered under a limited series of so only 100 units offering its new owners carefully selected equipment and a distinctive design.
R 1300 GS Aurum Edition: “for motorcyclists who want to distinguish themselves”
As happened just a few weeks ago with the limited series of the R 1300 GS destined exclusively for the Brazilian market, this time we are faced with a special edition that will only be sold by BMW Motorrad in the Netherlands. Furthermore, on this occasion, the subsidiary of the German firm makes available to its customers a total of 100 units of each of the models that make up the current R 1300 GS range.

BMW R 1300 GS Aurum Edition in detail
The BMW R 1300 GS Aurum Edition is based on the Triple Black styling variant and combines rich standard equipment with exclusive details for this edition. The factory equipment includes, among others, the Touring, Dynamic and Innovation packages, adaptive height control, automatic shift assist (ASA), heated passenger seat, anti-theft alarm, trunk support and spoked wheels with a gold finish.
In addition, the Aurum edition is distinguished by specific accessories such as the black sump guard, gold radiator panels, “Option 719” footpegs, tinted windshield and a set of three Vario side cases. Other exclusive elements of this limited series would be, for example, the exclusive sticker kit for the occasion, a special passenger seat and a tank cover with a finish that imitates Alcantara, as well as an identification plate with the model number.
BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Aurum Edition in detail
One step above we have this BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Aurum Edition. A version that is also based on the Triple Black variant and has complete additional equipment. Standard features include the Touring Package, Dynamic Package, Innovation Package, Adaptive Ride Height Assist, Automatic Shift Assist (ASA), Top Luggage Rack, Anti-Theft Alarm, and Gold Wire Wheels.
The adventure-oriented equipment is complemented by a black sump guard, black valve cover protection integrated into the bumpers, gold radiator panels, Option 719 footpegs, tinted windshield, tinted wind deflectors and a set of three aluminum side cases. Like the GS Aurum Edition, the Adventure version also includes the rest of the finishing details already mentioned above.
Price and availability
Only 100 examples of both the BMW R 1300 GS Aurum Edition and the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Aurum Edition will be manufactured, with official prices of 34,950 and 36,950 euros respectively.
