Bordoy motorcycles He celebrated the one that has already become an inescapable event of each year: the 2nd edition of the Champions Day, an event in which the four recognized pilots who have the support of the group have shared their experiences to all attendees in the store located in the Balmes Street, 186, from Barcelona.
Champions Day 2025 in detail
The event, directed by the journalist Josep Lluís Merloswas the perfect scenario for the four protagonists, that participants in different competitions of the two and four wheels could share their experiences in each of their disciplines.
- Josep García: With a record of 5 World Enduro World Championships, 16 Enduro Spain Championships and 4 individual victories in the reputable Six Days, Josep has become a reference of Spanish motorcycling worldwide.
- Gerard Farrés: House brand ambassador, Macbor, Dakar pilot with 18 editions behind him (11 in Moto and 7 in Side By Side) and one of the most recognized pilots in our country not only for its excellent results, but also for its proximity to the press and its followers.
- Javi Vega: Ambassador of the Kove brand and already winner of the Addax Rally, is one of the pilots that represents the essence of the Dakar with a total of 7 participations in the hardest race in the world. In the last edition, Javi Vega got the sixth place in the original by Motul category on his kove 450 Rally.
- Mireia Rabionet: Despite his 19 years he already has a maturity on the motorcycle that allowed him Be part of the Spanish Motorcycle Federation team.
Josep García began his journey from Motos Bordoy when he was under 7 years old. The young pilot of Suria took his first steps in the world of competition to the handlebar of the Macbor’s children’s motorcycles (own brand of the Motos Bordoy Group). Since then, Josep has achieved 5 titles of the world champion in different categories and has become the only pilot in the more than one hundred years of history of this competition to win four consecutive editions of the ISDE, considered as the Olympiad of the Enduro
In his participation in the Champions Day he has confessed that “It faces the challenges of 2025 with desire and that, at least, he would like to repeat the successes of 2024” and that, for him, “winning the World Enduro Championship has been very important on a personal level.”
Gerard Farrés and Motos Boordoy also share a lot of travel together from their experience as a pilot of Husqvarna in their young age. The Manresa pilot, who shares the same spirit of adventure and overcoming as Macbor, returned to his store to tell his 18th participation in the Dakar: another experience full of passion, effort and resilience.
Taking advantage of his presence in the 2nd Champions Day of Motos Bordoy, Farreti revealed some of the most interesting stories he lived in the Saudi desert dunes: “It was a very enriching experience, it is a very rewarding mental challenge. Thanks to Motos Bordoy and Macbor for supporting me at all times ”.
In addition, he referred to his participation in the Bassella Race 1 on February 15 and 16 by the brand, showing himself very optimistic with his next challenge and with his motorcycle: “With the XR5 you can give 100% in the passage by curve, it has a fantastic braking and its manageability is excellent. Macbor is doing very well with the motorcycle and with all the people behind. Let’s go for the Basella! ”
Javi Vega, who premiered as a Kove ambassador last November with an excellent victory in the Addax rally, returned to transport all those attending the Dakar rally sand by telling his experience in the 2025 edition of the toughest rally in the world. The pilot faced his sixth participation in the category Original By Motulin which participants do not have assistance from the team.
“It has been an experience and a mental and physical challenge, but I am satisfied with the results.” After a very complicated first week due to navigation problems, it managed to finish 6th in its category.
