Just a couple of months ago we told you how the two Ducati Superleggeras of the famous British chef Paul Hollywood were going to be auctioned, in version 1199 and 1299 respectively. Two motorcycles that finally found a new home, although the final amount paid for each of them has not been revealed.
While for the 1199 Superleggera it was expected to raise around 45,000 euros, for its vitaminized sister, the 1299, the figure rose to approximately 52,000 euros.
Paul Hollywood’s Big Dog Ridgeback can be yours
Recently, we learned that another of the famous British chef’s motorcycles will go up for auction on February 16 as part of the event. “The iconic motorcycle sale at the MCN London Motorcycle Show 2025”organized by Iconic Auctioneers. We talk about the 2004 Big Dog Ridgeback that Paul Hollywood used to record the television show “Paul Goes To Hollywood”.
As detailed in the sales advertisement itself, the motorcycle was used during the making of the television series in 2019 in the US and, after filming was completed, it was shipped to the United Kingdom. For those who do not know the Big Dog Motorcycles brand, we are talking about the largest manufacturer of custom motorcycles in the world. Headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, they are more than 30,000 motorcycles those it has manufactured to date.
Paul Hollywood’s Big Dog Ridgeback is equipped with a marvelous tubular steel chassis to which a huge 1,800 cc S&S twin-cylinder engine. Apparently, since the motorcycle arrived in the United Kingdom, Paul Hollywood has made minimal use of it, perhaps that is why he has decided to find it a new home. The advertisement argues that it has been “stored as part of a collection for the last few years so will need to be put back into operation before getting back on the road.”
The original “Hollywood or Bust” logos are included with the motorcycle and it is expected to raise a figure that could be between 12 and 14 thousand pounds for it, (between 14,500 and 17,000 euros). However, it is likely that it will eventually reach a higher price, as could have happened with both Ducati, although this is a lot to assume, since as we have explained, the amounts paid for both have not been made public.
In any case, if you are a fan of Paul Hollywood, Big Dog Motorcycles or impressive chopper motorcycles, it is a good opportunity to buy a truly exclusive mount.
So here we leave you the direct link to the sale announcement and we are waiting for you to confirm that you have gotten it… Good luck!
