Clubs from 38 countries meet at the Vespa World Days 2025

Last weekend the celebrities were held Vespa World Days 2025the annual meeting of the National Vespa Clubs around the world, held this year in Gijón, Spain.

The Asturian city successfully housed a great concentration of lovers of the Vespas from the entire planet: on Saturday, May 3, the traditional Vespa Parade brought together More than 4,000 Vespas of all models and decades, from 38 different countries. A colorful snake winding through the green Asturian hills, with impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean.

In the Vespa World Days 2025, attendees also competed for Vespa Trophy: the challenge was reserved for the most daring Vespa pilots, who traveled to Gijón with their faithful Vespas. The participants registered their itinerary with official photos and stamps in their travel books, documenting each stage of their trip to northern Spain.

Next to them, on the roads of Europe, the official Piaggio network played a key role. Its wide coverage allowed local dealers to receive VESPA fans during the tour, serving as control points and providing assistance to travelers who were heading to the Vespa World Days event.

Among the numerous participating teams, from a total of 16 countries, said Vespa Club Ferrara, with four fantastic pilots. Vespa Club Roma also obtained second place on the podium, followed by Vespa Club Trento. For his part, Carmine Sapio, from Vespa Club Melfi, received the solitary pilot award.

In addition to the spectacular elegance contest, continuing the tradition initiated last year, on Friday the Gymkhana World Cup was held, a reissue of this classic formula, not only as a counterreloj test, but also as a real dexterity test at the commanders of a Vespa.
