Do you feel like racing? Grab some popcorn and enjoy Pecco Bagnaia’s documentary for free

After winning the title in 2022 and 2023, Pecco Bagnaia was the great candidate in the fight for the championship in 2024. The Italian driver has won the most GPs, but it was not enough to defeat Jorge Martín who, without winning so many races, it has been much more regular.

Even so, the fight went to the last Grand Prix and was epic, since Bagnaia was not willing to give up. Despite having the odds against him, he continued to show his best version until the finish line of the Barcelona Solidarity GP.

And Pecco, in the last three Grands Prix of the season (Thailand, Malaysia and Barcelona), achieved victory on Sunday with a third in the Sprint Race in Thailand, the fall that left him without options in the Sprint Race in Malaysia and a final victory in the Barcelona Sprint Race. A spectacular end to the season that Ducati decided to immortalize in a documentary, in three chapters, the first of which can now be enjoyed on its YouTube channel.

Each of the three chapters that make up the documentary series “Dream On”, which in Spanish would be “Keep dreaming”, perfectly captures the fighting essence with which Bagnaia faced the almost impossible goal of winning the title. And each episode focuses on each of the last three GPs.

Dream On sneaks fully into the most hermetic environment of Bagnaia

The first is from Thailand and can now be enjoyed for free. With a closer approach, seeing the ins and outs not only of the Ducati pits but of what a race weekend is really like for Bagnaia, we can get a little closer to the experience that the Italian rider lived at the end of the season .

In this first episode, which lasts 15 minutes, we can see a Pecco without filters but also his surroundings, all the people who accompanied him in that dream of reaching the title again.

The cameras inside the box reflect the tension of each moment, from the most relaxed and relaxing parts to the pressure of fighting for pole or how the team experiences each race from within. There is also time for interviews and even to see the ins and outs of some controversy that we are not going to reveal to you so as not to give spoilers, but which shows that the official team avoided entering into wars in the offices to keep their options alive.

Although the most spectacular thing is possibly the cameras in Bagnaia’s office, not for the images but for having unfiltered access to the most private conversations in which Davide Tardozzi openly shows his opinions to the Italian driver, or the technician Massimo Gabarrini speaks with Pecco on the technical decisions and his doubts. It is undoubtedly the most hidden part of the races, so it is a privilege to be able to get closer to those conclaves about which we so rarely have information.

There’s no doubt that this is one of the purest, in some ways, inside racing documentaries we’ve seen lately, so grab some popcorn and enjoy while we wait for the second episode to arrive.

Happy drivers
