The Hypermotard acronym has become a reference within the current range of Ducati models. A fact that is well known by the brand and that it takes advantage of to give life to versions as exciting as this 698 Mono Nera. With a striking all-black livery and complete technical features, the Italian Supermotard is now even more attractive and exciting to ride.
698 Nera Jumpsuit in detail
The Hypermotard 698 Mono was created with a single objective: to offer strong emotions in the corners, on the track and even in urban environments, applying technical solutions derived from the Panigale – in terms of engine, electronics and chassis – to a completely new segment for Ducati. With this 698 Mono Nera variant, these sensations increase exponentially thanks to an image and an equipment package responsible for giving a differential touch to the model.
Mechanically, the Superquadro Mono engine is the most sophisticated and highest-performance single-cylinder road engine ever built, derived from the twin-cylinder engine of the Panigale 1.299. It inherits the 116 mm diameter piston, the combustion chamber, the titanium intake valves, the steel exhaust valves and the desmodromic distribution, the same solution that Ducati uses in MotoGP.
Now, in this 698 Mono Nera version, the model has approved Termignoni steel silencers that provide a bold and robust appearance as well as a unique listening experience. As a result we obtain a final power of 77.5 HP at 10,250 rpm and 63 Nm of maximum torque with the single cylinder rotating at 8,000 rpm. Reference performance that we can make the most of thanks to a first-class cycle part.
Starting with the trellis frame with variable sections and thicknesses, capable of combining resistance, rigidity and lightness, along with cast wheels and brake discs with an aluminum inner ring. With a dry weight of just 151kg The 698 Mono Nera becomes a sharp razor on and off the track. A figure that is achieved through the implementation of top solutions within the sector.

Among them we can highlight a double-arm swingarm, light and with essential lines that works through a system of progressive linkages connected to a fully adjustable rear shock absorber. Something similar happens in the electronic section where the 698 Mono Nera makes available to the pilot a compendium of systems and driving aids that are difficult to compare.
In fact, many of these systems are inherited directly from the Panigale V4 such as Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, Ducati Power Launch and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up/Down. In addition, it has cornering ABS, which has settings specifically developed to manage “skidding” on the track using the “Slide-by-Brake” function.

For its part, the Ducati Wheelie Control system also includes specific functions for the track: in its standard version, the lowest setting allows you to lift the front wheel in a controlled and safe way, maximizing both performance and fun. When installing the Termignoni racing exhaustintended exclusively for circuit use and which offers an increase of 7 hpan additional assistance strategy called Wheelie Assist is activated.
In this case, the electronics help the rider perform and maintain prolonged wheelies by regulating the angle through the delivery of torque from the engine. Finally, it should be noted that this Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera also comes standard with Ducati Quick Shift. As for the aesthetic part, it sports an exclusive decoration that successfully combines black and red; while e first dominates the overall design, creating a bold and aggressive image, while also serving as the perfect backdrop for the striking red accents.

The Ducati Red wheels and frame reinforce the overall theme of power and performance of the 698 Mono Nera. The set is finished off by the aforementioned approved Termignoni silencers responsible for enhancing the sporty character of the motorcycle while enhancing the visual impact of the rear, thanks to the black finish with red details that combine perfectly with the decoration.
As if this were not enough, we can customize our Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera with accessories from Ducati Performance: from components machined from aluminum blocks to an aluminum license plate holder, to racing seats and footpegs. In addition, the brand also offers us a wide range of helmets, jackets and pants.

Finally, remember that within the 2026 DRE Road calendar, Ducati’s exclusive driving course that has top-level instructors, the Hypermotard range is also included among its featured motorcycles. That said, the Hypermotard 698 Mono Nera will be available from 13,990 euros at all Ducati dealerships in Europe starting June 2026.
