One of the most manic issues when we talk about electric motorcycles, is its ability to autonomy in real life. Perhaps in this aspect, the well -known Verge TS Pro has been placed as a reference within the current EV market.
To demonstrate it, the brand itself has embarked on an interesting adventure in recent weeks, trying to cover the 1,366 kilometers that separate the cities of Monaco and Madrid in a maximum period of 24 hours.
In a Verge TS Pro you can also travel
There is no doubt that Verge Motorcycles is one of the reference brands within the plugging sector. Now, thanks to its official YouTube channel, we have known first -hand the long distance test carried out at the controls of a Verge TS Pro. In it, its ideologues wanted to verify such important factors when evaluating a model such as its efficiency, reliability or ergonomics.
To do this, the brand decided to travel the distance that Monaco separates from the Spanish capital in a maximum period in which in no case exceeds 24 hours. Although the Verge TS Pro has up to 350 of autonomy declared, it is not the same to establish this value by making a soft driving within a citizen area, than to go on the road and integrate into conventional traffic.
In fact, on the official website of the brand and with respect to the maximum autonomy value established by the TS Pro clarified: “The urban estimate calculated by Verge aims to offer a reasonable approach to a quiet driving with starts and stops in an urban environment at low speeds.” However, when we talk about a conduction similar to that established to face this long distance test, Verge Motorcycles clarifies:
“The road estimation calculated by Verge aims to provide a reasonable approach to constant and uniform road driving at a speed of 56 mph.” In this way, the Verge TS Pro would be able to travel a maximum distance of about 199 kilometers between load and load. If we stick to the comments of the protagonists of the test, as they clarify from New Atlas, one of them argues:
“Autonomy depends significantly on the driving style and speed. On a trip like this, where the team led to highway speeds greater than 100 km/h for prolonged periods, the autonomy naturally decreases. In these conditions, a complete load (100 % → 0 %) provides an autonomy of about 250 km.” Honestly, the accounts do not come out, if we simply guide ourselves to the brand’s own description.
In any case, it seems that they managed to achieve their final mission after facing 17 and a half hours of driving, 6 hours and six minutes of recharges and 10 stops to be able to make them. This makes a total of 23 Hy 36 minutesa total figure that most likely becomes a reference for other brands in the electricity sector that want to test any of their models.
