Converting a Pan America into a streetfighter should not be easy or cheap. If you also manage to get fans of the brand to see in this preparation the ideal model to become the Harley-Davidson Bronx that they expect so much, then it is very likely that you will succeed like Coca-Cola.
This is what has happened to the French dealer, Harley-Davidson Grand Lyonand his work presented in the contest King of Tracks 2024 within the framework of the last Lyon Show. At the same time, the motorcycle was displayed at the brand's stand throughout the event and has sparked countless reactions, due to the fact that it is very close to the concept that the brand should use to develop the expected Bronx.

Putting the matter in context, we would have to go back in time, specifically to 2017, when the Milwaukee firm registered three new commercial names: 48X, Pan America and Bronx. However, with the latter there was speculation that it could be a new clothing line, designed for the younger customers who come to the American brand.
Three years later, and after speculating for quite some time about the possibility of the arrival of a Harley-Davidson Bronxeven launching a promotional video of the future model, the brand definitively scrapped the project after going through a significant financial downturn.
Even a few months before it seemed that Harley-Davidson was preparing a cafe racer called the Bronx Streetfighter 975. The last news we had on the subject came in the final stages of 2021, when we asked ourselves: “Will the Harley-Davidson Bronx finally arrive in 2022?”
Now, thanks to the colleagues at Moto Station, we have learned about this Harley preparation on a Pan America 1250. In fact, the Bronx has come to mind and how good a model from the brand could look, with a silhouette similar to the one that offers this project. In addition, offering that muscular feel that HD frames currently have in their most performance models.
We are left with the doubt as to whether Harley would have different variants of the new one in this case. Bronxequipped with the 1250 Pan America and the engine Revolution Max 975 which currently equips the 2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster.
Only the brand can answer these questions, so we have to wait for any type of news that offers us real possibilities as to whether HD resumes the project.
