In just a couple of weeks Honda, taking advantage of its presence at the celebration of the Japan Mobility Show 2025will present to the visiting public and the international media present a new electric concept that, subsequently, is destined to become the second electric motorcycle within its current range of models.
Although the brand has not offered concrete details about what could be coming, guiding us to its catalog of “unpublished”it is likely that we will witness the birth of something totally different from what the golden wing firm had offered us until now. Of course, following the planned strategic line in terms of innovation and development, also complying with the planned deadlines regarding global carbon neutrality by 2050 in all its products and processes.
New electric concept and multiple Honda innovations
In Honda’s brief statement in reference to the aforementioned electric concept, it confirms: “We will present in a world premiere a conceptual model of an electric motorcycle that takes a new approach that is not limited by conventional concepts and that will surprise, inspire and provide new experiences.” Along with this, the brand new CB1000F will also be exhibited, which in the words of Honda “embodies the evolutionary standard of sports motorcycles.”
Regarding what we can expect from Honda’s new electric concept, it is unlikely that it will surprise us with a motorcycle in the style of the well-known EV Urban Concept, presented at the last EICMA 2024 together with the EV Fun Concept. The latter in turn was the prelude to the new Honda WN7, the brand’s first large-displacement electric motorcycle. With a range of 130 km, fast charging in 30 minutes and performance equivalent to a 600 cc, it is already a living part of the history of the Japanese firm.
So, guided by the opinion of some specialized international media, it would be possible that Honda’s next electric concept could show us a new high-performance sports prototype and even a model that would completely redefine the current standards of efficiency and autonomy. The cards are on the table and now it’s the Japanese brand’s turn to surprise us… Place your bets.
