will be next January 24 when we see first-hand the new models equipped with the PowerPlus engine that Indian Motorcycles has prepared for us for 2025. This has been made known through its most important social networks, with the launch of a video-teaser titled “World premiere of the new PowerPlus family”. In it, although it does not reveal what models they are, it gives us an idea of where things will go in this regard.
The new Roadmaster and Chieftain will feature PowerPlus technology
In this new year, Indian is betting on the inclusion of its well-known PowerPlus technology in two of its flagship models, the well-known Roadmaster and Chieftain. These would join the current Challenger and Pursuit that already enjoy the powerful 1,769 cc (108 ci) water-cooled engine.
Now, thanks to the friends of Motorcycle we have been made aware of the document presented by Indian, where some relevant details of the new Indian PowerPlus family are revealed. Among them, the current Chieftain and Roadmaster would join the versions that use air-cooled mechanics.
Likewise, in addition to the aforementioned 108-inch version, it seems that the American brand will also have a second 1,834 cc (112 ci) variant. In this way, taking into account the current models that make up the PowerPlus range, starting next January 24, Indian would have up to four mounts powered by the well-known 60-degree V-twin that in its standard version offers us up to 122 HP at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 173 Nm at 3,800 revolutions.
Challenger bagger, Pursuit full tourer, Chieftain PowerPlus bagger or the Roadmaster PowerPlus tourer will become the spearhead in the renewed range of Indian models for 2025. All of them equipped with the two existing fairing options (depending on the model) and a select and extensive level of equipment to the taste of the most demanding brand customers.
