integral when you need it and jet when you feel like it

GIVI has just presented its new X36your first alternative flip-back with 180° rotating chin guard. With it, the Italian firm introduces a new way of understanding versatility, responding to the need of those seeking the safety of a full-body and the freshness of a jet without giving up anything.

To guarantee complete adaptation, the X36 is presented in three versions: carbon, fiberglass and technopolymerconsolidating itself as an exponent of cutting-edge technology and offering an unprecedented option for every type of motorcyclist when it comes to tackling this season’s routes.

GIVI X36 in detail

After the success of emblematic models such as the integral adventure 80.1 or the modular X50, the Brescia firm has decided to take a step further in its helmet catalog with the development of the X36. This model is not just a novelty, but is the result of a careful design process that seeks to offer a definitive solution to those seeking maximum versatility in their daily trips.

Unlike traditional modular helmets where the chin guard is raised above the forehead, in the X36 it pivots 180° until it is fixed to the back of the helmet. This technical feature not only improves dynamic balance by moving the center of gravity rearward, but also completely frees the field of vision and allows a frontal air intake typical of a jet helmet.

This configuration is ideal for enjoying outdoor trips with the peace of mind of having the double P/J approval (ECE 22R06)which guarantees maximum protection in both open and closed positions. In addition, GIVI has developed a complete family around the X36 to adapt to the preferences of each rider, offering three different materials that give life to a total of 19 chromatic variants.

The most exclusive option is the X36 Carbon, which thanks to its carbon fiber shell stops the scale at 1,590 grams. For those looking for a balance between lightness and resistance, the fiberglass version is presented with dynamic graphics like the Pulse, while the technopolymer version democratizes this technology with finishes like the Vertigo. All versions share a double-sized shell to ensure a proportional and aerodynamic fit in all sizes.

The interiors of the X36 are made with anti-allergic fabrics, are completely removable and have pads specifically studied by GIVI to offer an optimized fit for the use of glasses. In terms of visibility, the helmet incorporates an anti-scratch visor prepared for a Pinlock lens (included as standard in all versions) and an essential smoked sun visor.

Besides, For users of the Carbon version, GIVI exclusively supplies an additional second dark visor. The ventilation system, with air intakes in the chin guard and upper part along with a rear extractor, ensures a constant and pleasant flow on each route. All this combined with a wide sizing that covers from XS to XXL. In this way, access to this flip-back technology begins with the technopolymer version.
