Royal Enfield is one of the brands with the most history on the international scene. Founded in England in 1891, it started manufacturing motorcycles in 1901. Since then the brand has evolved, moving decades ago to India from where they have maintained the essence of their creations first and, now, they are betting on new, more conventional models.
That is the case of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, a versatile, minimalist motorcycle that has served as the basis for a preparation developed by Autologue Design that has managed to turn it into the complete opposite. A complex and impractical motorcycle although with cyberpunk lines that, it must be admitted, have their charm.
The truth is that if we did not know that it was a Guerrilla 450 it would be difficult to recognize it, because the futuristic design and the change in the vast majority of the components make it practically impossible to achieve. While the original bike is simple and almost without “ornamental elements” here we have carbon everywhere.
In fact, the entire body of the motorcycle is made of carbon fiber, but there are also parts made of acrylic plastic such as the front fenders. We must add, of course, the imposing front headlight which, as it could not be otherwise, is LED.
The suspensions and brakes are not standard either, they are inherited from a Ducati 848. A striking choice because it is oversized but on an aesthetic level it fits perfectly. We must add the personalized seat and a lot of other details that continue to appear with each visual pass that is given to the motorcycle.
The secret of this Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is rust, nitrous oxide…
Even so, what draws attention beyond all that futuristic design is a small bottle that is under the tail. A small detail that could be overlooked at a quick glance but hides a secret: nitrous oxide.
And yes, for whatever reason people decided that the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 needed a little of this chemical compound that made the Need for Speed sagas in video games and Fast & Furious on the big screen so popular. One more detail for a preparation that the more it is analyzed, the less meaning it makes, although the result, yes, is worthy of the best preparations.
