Today we bring you another product from the brand, the WaveFly 5Xwhich has nothing to do with its electric off-road, but nevertheless shares the same business objective as the latter in this regard.
As defined by the brand itself, we are faced with “a state-of-the-art personal air mobility device.” Designed to expand mobility beyond the earth, this “aquatic seaplane… breaks the barriers of land mobility, allowing users to enjoy the fun of sliding over the water, turning each journey into a unique adventure.”

Recently presented to the public at a dynamic event in Dong Taihu, and as confirmed by its creators there, the WaveFly 5X approves a maximum speed of 85 km/h, has a range of up to 80 km and a solo flight autonomy of 70 minutes with a maximum payload of 140 kg. To achieve this efficiency, it has a double tandem wing structure and an aerospace-grade carbon fiber fuselage.
Furthermore, as detailed in the official statement issued by the brand, the “WaveFly 5X uses ground effect technology to operate over water without the need for a traditional landing strip.” In fact, we would be facing the first wing-on-ground (WIG) type vessel for the consumer. Flying at low altitude above the water surface, the WaveFly 5X sets a new benchmark for low-altitude aquatic mobility.
Everything indicates that in the coming years this type of vehicles could have a greater commercial boom. According to Morgan Stanley, the global low-altitude flight economy is projected to exceed $2 trillion by 2030, and will continue to expand rapidly over the next decade.

A fact that has not gone unnoticed among some important attendees at the presentation organized by Navee. The aircraft completed a stable flight at low altitude and a journey over the water surface, validating the five years of technological development employed by the company up to this point.
Additionally, the event also marked an important commercial milestone, with several distributors signing letters of intent to introduce the WaveFly 5X into key international markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
