This season Jawa has decided to give some of the models that make up its current range of motorcycles a facelift. As we have learned from the Indian medium Gaad Waadi, both the Perak like the 42 Bobber have been subject to different improvements, although their price has remained unchanged compared to the 2023 version.

One of the points where the brand has essentially focused has been on the visual aspect. That is why the Perak and 42 Bobber now sport new color schemes. The first debuts two new shades in matte black and matte gray, with the seat upholstery in tan.
For its part, the Jawa 42 Bobber arrives in 2024 with two new decorations in Mystic Copper and Jasper Red Dual. Another relevant aspect of these changes directly affects ergonomics.
Jawa has chosen to modify the position of the footpegs of both models, advancing them in 155mm. With this change, the pilot is allowed to adopt a more relaxed position than that offered until now in both mounts.
Work has also been done on the damping, regulating the adjustment of the rear monoshock in relation to the changes made to the footpegs. In this way, the Jawa Perak and 42 Bobber They offer us better behavior in general terms, thanks to these ergonomic adjustments.
Mechanically, they continue to use the well-known single-cylinder engine. 334cc, liquid cooled and fed by a fuel injection system. The brand declares a final power of 29.9 hp at 7,500 rpmwith a maximum torque of 30 Nm at 5,500 revolutions.
In terms of equipment, the 42 Bobber stands out for having LED lighting, USB charging port, digital instrument panel, double disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch system or the possibility of adjusting the seat height. All this for an initial price of around 2,400 euros in both cases.
