In the early stages of this year 2026, Jawa Moto leaked the first details of one of its latest innovations, the Jawa 730 Twin. A model that would also come accompanied by a very special limited edition, the same one that has finally been presented under the acronym 1000 Sport Cruiser. The objective of this launch, in the words of the Czech firm itself, is “create an iconic product and define the design direction that the brand’s products will follow”.
Jawa 1000 Sport Cruiser in detail
Taking advantage of the celebration of the Motosalon in Brno, Jawa unveiled to the attendees the final prototype of its new 1000 Sport Cruiser. Designer’s work Jan Hrbek, The aim is to pay tribute to the almost 100 years of history that the brand has. To this end, in addition to creating a very special motorcycle in terms of philosophy and design, Jawa has communicated that Only 15 units of this first edition of the model will be sold.
As it could not be otherwise, it uses special equipment signed by leading brands in the sector such as Ohlins, OZ Racing or Brembo. Also Leo Vince does its part in the main configuration of the 1000 Sport Cruiser by supplying a custom exhaust system with two side outlets finished in titanium.
In the mechanical section the brand uses an engine 999 cc parallel twinwith internal dimensions of 96.0 x 69.0 mm. From it they are extracted up to 113 HP of power at 9,200 rpm with a maximum declared torque of 95 Nm at 6,500 revolutions and an approved top speed of 215 km/h. Some stylistic details also stand out on the external parts of the engine, with the clear intention of intensifying that neoclassical halo on which the general design of the motorcycle is based.
Both the side covers of the engine and the cooling fins take this into account, the latter simulating an air system. The almost baroque shapes of its front also contribute to this perception, which clearly remind us of some models of the brand belonging to other past eras. Both the headlight and the side covers that surround the bars of its inverted fork confirm this idea on a visual level.
Other important details that have been made official about this Jawa 1000 Sport Cruiser are associated with its main dimensions. Here we find a seat placed at 785 mm from the groundwhile the distance between axles is 1,555mm. With a empty weight of 238 kilograms It is not what can be called “light”, although it is not an aspect that decisively influences the philosophy sought by its creators.
Jawa Moto has announced that only 15 of these 1000 Sport Cruisers will be built with a starting price of 1,500,000 CZK (Czech crowns), about 61,800 euros at the current exchange rate. A truly high rate for what the model offers technically and technologically, although very understandable considering what it represents within the Czech firm.
