After the hard drop in the Qatar GP and the long recovery process of Jorge Martín, it seemed that it had as a final date for its return to the races of Germany. Not so much to compete in him, but they hoped that approximately at that time I could have already done a test with the MotoGP and even, if everything was going well, try during the GP.
But all possible plans were conditioned not so much for how the Madrid pilot was, who in his day to day and in what he shows through social networks is already leaving behind the toughest part of the recovery, but only and exclusively to the real evolution of his injuries.
For this, he had to undergo new medical tests that have been overwhelming, and that imply that Jorge Martín will not be able to compete in the 2025 GP GP. He has not received, therefore, the approval to play a GP and there is more, because for now they have not authorized him to perform private tests.
As the statement collects, Martín’s general evolution is positive and the escaping injury, despite not being 100% consolidated on the right track, as collected by Dr. Xavier Mir’s report. On the other hand, Dr. Ángel Charte is the one in command of the evolution of the costal fractures that also improve, but that have not been consolidated. That is why they consider that they need more time, two more weeks according to the statement.
Even so, Martín will spend a private review again at the beginning of next week and it will be at that point when we can put Martin’s return date even if the GP of Germany is past.
Given that the GP of the Czech Republic is only a week later to the GP of Germany and then the holiday period arrives, it will be necessary to see if the Aprilia pilot is in time to return before the holidays or do it afterwards.

This is the medical part of Jorge Martín after the exams performed on 06/30/2025 at the Dexeus University Hospital, Grupo Quirón.
Report of Dr. Xavier Mir on the scarf: the clinical evolution is good, with almost the entire range of movement recovered in the escaphoid. Currently, bone consolidation is not yet 100%, but the healing process advances positively, although the repair is not completely completed.
Report of Dr. Ángel Charte on the costal fractures: there is a significant improvement in the fracture points of most of the left ribs. Despite remarkable progress, some fractures have not yet been completely established. The evolution is very positive and, based on this, two more weeks are needed for complete healing.
A private review has been scheduled at the beginning of next week to continue evaluating the pilot’s status.
Participation in the German Grand Prix is ruled out.
