Lamborghini Huracán STJ: long life for the V10 engine

Rumors have been heard for some time about the arrival of the Lamborghini Temerario, which would be the successor to the current Huracán and would mark a change of era for the Sant'Agata firm. It would also mean the farewell to the V10 engine as we know it, in that atmospheric format that has brought so much joy and that also said goodbye in the Audi R8. The fact is that they wanted to celebrate the triumphs of this specimen in its ten years of life and they do it through the Lamborghini Huracán STJa limited edition model with many new features.

As we said, Only 10 units will be manufactured of the STJ, which will be the pinnacle of the Huracán before the arrival of its successor with a hybrid propulsion system. The Super Trofeo Jota, which is what its acronym means, follows other names such as the Miura SVJ and Aventador SVJ, with a clear reference to the competition. In fact, the main modifications it introduces affect the aerodynamic sectionwith a package that adds to the Huracán STO two carbon fiber fins and a rear spoiler with its angle modified by 3º to offer 10% greater downforce.

The truth is that on a mechanical level it does not change one bit, because it was not necessary. It maintains the acclaimed 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine with the same level of power that has reached a maximum of 640 HP and 565 Nm of torque. It is an exclusively propulsion vehicle and features the LDF dual-clutch automatic transmission with seven speeds. They do not talk about changes in performance, but in its chassis, with a suspension that mounts four-way adjustable shock absorbers derived from competition to improve behavior.

With that, the Huracán STJ is a second faster than the STO on the Nargo circuit and can also become more striking. Here are your two configuration options available:

  1. Bodywork in Grigio Telesto (gray) with a roof Nero Noctis (black) and details Rosso Mars (Red and Bianco Isi (white). Cabin with Alcantara upholstery Nero Cosmos and red stitching.
  2. Bodywork Blu Eliadi (blue) with roof Nero Noctis (black) and details Rosso Mars (Red and Bianco Isi (white). The interior does not change between both configurations.

In any case, they are mounted 20 inch single nut wheelsshod with Bridgestone Potenza Race tires and has the special carbon fiber plate numbered from 1 to 10 for the number of units that will be manufactured of the Lamborghini Huracán STJ.
