Madrid X Moto exceeds expectations with a memorable first edition

That the central area wanted motorcycles is something that has become clear with Madrid X Moto, the first major motorcycle event to be held in many years and which has been a complete success in terms of attendees. During the three days that the show lasted, more than 18,000 participants have passed through the facilities of La Torre-Ciudad del Conductor, in Parla (Madrid).

Precisely the facilities and their distribution allowed us to enjoy a much more authentic and close environment. With more than 5,000 square meters of exhibition space and exceeding 20,000 in terms of dedicated space, there were four large areas where you could enjoy the motorcycle.

The entrance area with different exhibitors such as GIVI or the space reserved for Rider Soul also had the entire restaurant area, and a stage during the afternoons and evenings where you could enjoy live music (special mention goes to the sublime performance of “Maldita y los Infartados” by our colleague Pipe Hinojosa), which extended the days until 11:00 p.m. It was also the place where different exhibitions and competitions were held.

Right next to it was the main exhibition hall with brands such as BMW, Kawasaki, Bimota, Honda, Harley-Davidson, CFMoto, Cyclone, MH, Yamaha, MITT, Rieju, Hero, BSA, Royal Enfield, Voge, Zontes, SYM, NIU, Macbor, QJ Motor, Kove, Indian, Silence and Zero Motorcycles, which, among others, were part of the more than 70 exhibitors and where you could see some new products such as the Honda CB1000GT and WN7, the Yamaha Ténéré World Wide, the BMW F450GS or the Zontes 125X, which could be enjoyed for the first time in Spain.

Another of the pillars and also one of the important areas was the area for testing, where different brands were offering the experience to visitors of being able to see first-hand the sensations of their current models.

And to top off the offer, there was the equipment area, where in addition to having top brand products there were also discounts that allowed many to go home fully equipped for much less.

In short, although the beginnings are difficult and the fact of moving the event from the center of Madrid to the periphery raised some doubts, they have all been resolved and with flying colors in an event that according to Jordi Bracons and Pablo Elvira, the people most responsible for the exhibition, is here to stay.
