The arrival of electrification Maserati has been strong and sustained. The Folgore name has been chosen for these variants with electric propulsion system that appear in several models. Now we see a very interesting special edition that has the world of wine as its protagonist. Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello This is a unique and unrepeatable unit, with a very striking configuration thanks to the brand’s Fuoriserie customization program.
When we talk about paying homage to the world of wine, we are referring to the 50th anniversary of Tignanello. It is one of the most recognized red wines from Italy, made by a company with a family tradition of more than 600 years, passed down through 26 generations. To its current owner, Marchesi Antinorihe could not think of a better way to celebrate than to customise a GranCabrio Folgore which will later be auctioned for charity. It stands out for its artisan origins and for the attention paid to the smallest detail.
The body of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello is given a color created exclusively. Is called Tignanello land and it is a chestnut tone that is inspired by the soil of the vineyard, with copper touches and contrasting details. For example, the wheels, brake calipers or the convertible hood are in black; while the logos are copper-coloured. However, it seems that the most characteristic of this special edition goes insidewhich boasts materials that are new to the range.
The seats go in a Leather embellished with a multi-material fabric (derived from vineyards) silver and burgundy ribbed. It is reminiscent of the rows of vines on the Tignanello hill and has a touch as remarkable as that of leather. In addition, the mouldings of this model are made of laser-engraved dark briar wood to recall the oak barrels of wine. There is no lack of a embroidery on the headrest and in the central tunnel. Nor the dates 1971-2021, which refer to the first and current vintages of Tignanello.
What does not change is the electric propulsion system of the GranCabrio Folgore. It arrives unchanged, with those 760 HP of power thanks to a front electric motor added to two rear ones. It has all-wheel drive and 800 V technology to accept fast charges. They serve so that its 83 kWh net battery does not waste much time and with it you can travel up to 447 kilometers. Now all that remains is to see the price of the Tignanello edition, which will far exceed the 209,600 euros that the standard model costs.
