New Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 confirmed for next year

We will have Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 in 2025, or at least that is what can be deduced from the model registration carried out by Pierer Mobility to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the United States. In it we can clearly see the inscription of the new Husqvarna model, which would join the recently presented Svartpilen 801 2024 in the future range of the Swedish brand.

In this way, the Vitpilen 801 It will become the de facto sportiest option from Husqvarna, with some notable nuances in its design that, unlike the Svartpilen 801, are focused on riding exclusively on the road. In addition, and for the occasion, the model will incorporate the recently introduced two-cylinder in-line engine already seen in the scrambler-focused variant.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 801: Personality in abundance

Without a doubt, if there is a common denominator in Husqvarna models, it is their great level of personality, confirmed in the upcoming Vitpilen 801. A model that has been simmering in the brand’s R&D department since it eliminated the previous 701 versions from the range in 2021.

Now with the arrival of the Svartpilen 801, we can get a more accurate idea of what we can expect from this Vitpilen 801. A new bike from scratch that will take advantage of many of the components introduced in its sister, and that will further exploit the sporting side of this well-known platform.

New Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 confirmed for next season

To do this, he will use the well-known LC8c 799cc capable of offering us maximum power is 105 hp at 9,250 rpm and maximum torque is 87 Nm at 8,000 rpm.. Figures that perfectly match the weight of just 180 kilograms, approximately, that the brand will declare. In addition, it is expected to have a 95 HP version that can be limited to the current A2 license.

The chassis should use the modern tubular steel frame debuted by the Svartpilen 801, as well as WP APEX suspensions and braking equipment designed by J. Juan. Unlike its sister, the Vitpilen 801 should be equipped with two sports tires aimed exclusively at road use. Although the 17” rims could be shared by both models, it is likely that there will be some changes in terms of design.

New Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 confirmed for next season

In addition to all of the above, Husqvarna should offer equipment similar to that already seen on the new Svartpilen 801, including notable elements such as adjustable Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), Bosch cornering-sensitive ABS, the Dynamic Pack, which introduces Engine Brake Control (MSR), Full-LED lighting or a 5” TFT screen with standard connectivity.

Hopefully we’ll see it at EICMA or even before.
