Norton prepares its resurrection at EICMA 2025 with the launch of 4 models

Norton’s path to getting here has not been easy. 5 years after being acquired by TVS Motor, and an investment of more than 230 million euros, the legendary British company is ready to show the world the hard work carried out throughout all this time. As a result of this, the launch of at least four new models during the celebration of EICMA 2025.

A range led by the latest generation V4 sports car on which they have worked meticulously and which, predictably, will become their flagship. Along with it, the staging of several mounts is expected to meet the demands of other segments of the two-wheeled industry, including a medium-displacement ADV model developed on the platform of the expected BMW F 450 GS.

2026 a key year for Norton

From the early stages of 2024, rumors of a new range of Norton motorcycles began to sound strong that would see the light of day, if everything went as planned, just 24 months later. That same year, the arrival of up to six new models was confirmed over the next three seasons, although almost all of them had a different focus than those that the British firm had marketed up to that point.

In fact, just a few months ago, under the same corporate argument, Sudarshan Venu, CEO of TVS Motors, confirmed this theory, also announcing that four of them would be ready for their debut at EICMA 2025, with the summer of 2026 being the key moment for the start of their commercialization. Likewise, the brand set a strategic objective in its plans: Its debut in the Indian market.

As reliable proof of this new commercial direction, Norton Motorcycle established its new subsidiary in India last August. At the same time, he gave us new clues about his next model in his latest teaser video and showed us the first images of a test mule of his future 1,200 cc superbike. As a culmination of this cascade of news from Solihull, Norton announced the end of production of its current range of models.

The latter entailed the elimination of what is probably the greatest strength of its product portfolio, the Norton Commando. So we asked ourselves the obligatory question of whether the brand will be preparing an evolution of the model to be presented, precisely, at the Milan Motorcycle Show along with the rest of the new features announced.

Norton news at EICMA 2025: What we know

Now, thanks to our colleagues at MCN, we have learned some of the key aspects of Norton’s presentation at the Italian exhibition. Among them, the launch of its new V4 Superbike is confirmed at EICMA 2025 and it will also do so under two different versions in terms of finish and equipment. Along with these, a medium-displacement ADV model could also be presented, with a design and technology similar to that used in the development of the new BMW F 450 GS.

Let us remember that TVS Motor, current owner of Norton, maintains a collaboration agreement with the German firm. This includes the manufacturing of its new trail in the Indian factories of the Asian group. In any case, the new Norton range will maintain its personal seal, as it could not be otherwise, although without forgetting such determining aspects as performance or reliability.

This is why the brand claims to have traveled more than 30,000 km in testing with its new frames, the result of the development program they have been working on in recent years. We will soon know all the details about it and especially if the wait on the part of the most loyal followers of the brand has been worth it.
