Although the Nurburgring Nordschleife is so extremely dangerous that 50 years ago it stopped competing in F1 there, and motorcycles even longer, today it is still a pilgrimage place. People who want to shoot for the more than 20 kilometers that the layout have from all over the world.
It currently works as a kind of toll road, where a ticket is taken out and enters. And unless it was closed for some reason, there were no requirements to enter motorcycle in terms of schedules or level.
But now, the Nurburgring Nordschleife management is carrying out a security restructuring, because the track today remains as dangerous as half a century ago and there are many who only realize that reality when it is already impossible to solve it.
One of the problems faced by motorcycle users who entered the German circuit, is that they shared track with cars and even with vans and bus, something that will change drastically from this year. In 2025 the motorcycles will only be able to enter the nurburring Nordschleife for four days, in the image and likeness of a normal track day.
What days will Nurburgring Nordschleife open for motorcycles in 2025?
As confirmed by Ingo Báder, general director of Nurburgring, four one -day events will be held at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, which will be July 30 and 31 and August 13 and 14. In those two days, only motorcycles will roll and do so divided into groups by experiences of the pilots and, in addition, with monitors to make driving as sure as possible.
And, as we said, it is the search for the greatest possible security that has promoted this situation.
The price that these guided bikes or all the details and demands will be known is not yet known. What is certain is that it will not be cheap, because currently every return during the week cost 30 euros and the weekend amounted to 35. Therefore, a system of batches more to use and with monitor is surely more expensive.
