Just a few months have passed since the Porsche 911 was renewed. The legendary German sports car came with some improvements in several areas, although the most important thing was the arrival of the T-Hybrid hybrid system to the GTS version. However, there was a gap to fill between the access version and that copy… Now comes the Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025 to occupy it with a mechanics that offers balance and features that are still top-notch. They compare it with the previous GTS and we are not surprised judging by its numbers.
This specimen rides the mythical 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine without electrification, maintaining purity. It is linked to the eight-speed dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission, making it clear that the manual transmission will be reserved for more special versions. In any case, its power has been increased thanks to the new turbochargers and the improvement of its cooling, since it is already in 480 HP and 530 Nm of torque directly to the rear wheels. It is about 60 HP behind the GTS and almost 90 HP behind the basic one.
This new Porsche 911 Carrera S is capable of accelerating 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 308 km/h, making it a considerable improvement over its predecessor. In addition, this version has Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), an addition that is not available on the normal Carrera. On the other hand, it has the same brakes as the GTS, with red calipers and discs that are 408 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear. Carbon ceramics are optionally offered, in addition to a PASM sports suspension and rear axle steering.
The Porsche 911 Carrera S stands out from other versions by the 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear, in addition to the sports exhaust system with silver outlets. Inside the sports car you can also see some evidence, such as the black leather package, although it can optionally be improved. There is the possibility of mounting an extended leather package, the HD-Matrix LED headlights or the Sport Chrono package with the Porsche Track Precision app. The price of this copy is 177,947 euros in our country for the Coupé variant, while the Cabrio goes up to 193,981 euros.
