No matter if you call yourself Carolina de Borbón and be princess from somewhere; If you commit imprudence to the controls of a motorcycle (in this case a Harley-Davidson), you can really end up bad. Specifically in the bed of a hospital, in the intensive care unit, which we commonly know as ICU.
Apparently and according to herself: “I am very lucky to be alive. I crashed head against a wall while I was on a motorcycle and ended up resuscitting in the intensive care unit. Surviving this was nothing less than a miracle.”
Carolina de Borbón urges to always use the appropriate motorcycle equipment
The positive part of this matter, if it has it somewhere, is that Carolina de Borbón herself, after having suffered in her own meats an accident of this magnitude, encourages all those who make use of a motorcycle at any time of her life, to always carry the appropriate equipment.
She explains: “I wanted to share my own experience, since I have now realized more than ever that motorcycles are powerful and exciting, but also implacable. Please ride carefully. I use complete protection, especially an adequate helmet. Mine saved my life.”
Finally, as is usually common in these cases and more in the case of a personality of its transcendence, Carolina de Borbón commanded a sense of thanks to the medical team that attended it:
“My deepest thanks to the outstanding team of the Center Hospitalier Princesse Grace for his expert attention during those critical days, and the emergency medical team and first aid in the place, whose rapid and decisive actions in those first moments made a difference”
