But there is much more and the aesthetic is, obviously, based on an original Suzuki Katana, but with some modifications as details that bring it to the 21st century. At the outset we see a powerful aluminum rear swingarm, along with an aluminum chassis to achieve a fairly powerful chassis.
And it doesn't stop there, because in the rest of the cycle part not the slightest has been spared. The suspensions are provided by Öhlins and the brakes are by Brembo, to make the whole thing as spectacular as it is effective.
The Kawasaki Katana was created almost entirely from scratch
Removing, in fact, brakes, suspensions, tires and engine, the most amazing thing about this bike is that the rest has been completely created by Nozaki Works. Which means that the rest of the Kawsasaki Katana, both what we can see and what is less visible, simply did not exist and was made to shape the bike.
Its creators say that the escapements simulate, precisely, the weapons of the samurai and hence their sharp shape. We can say that it is a great neo-retro motorcycle, and they have been faithful to the essence in every way with a 100% Katana front and lines, but at the same time taking us up to the present day as shown by the LED turn signals on the spoilers. sides or lighting systems.
But for us the icing on the cake is the scoreboard. The panel is an LCD, but what we find is a digitized reproduction of the one mounted on the original Suzuki Katana
And it's no wonder, because on this bike there is electronic management involved. We must not forget that the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R was already a motorcycle of the modern era in every sense.
