Within the luxury SUVs, a renewed Range Rover Sport came to the market in 2023. One of the most rational versions, the D300, passed through our test section, but without a doubt the most desired is the Range Rover Sport SV, for its power and capabilities. Now this high-performance SUV becomes even more exclusive with the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two.
This new edition offers an exterior design with four new styles that include an exclusive exterior color palette with new carbon fiber finishes and SV Performance seats in various colors and upholstery:
- Blue Nebula: This color is inspired by the shores of the North Atlantic Ocean, with a matte finish that incorporates a touch of green. It is combined with the new Satin Forged Carbon outer packa painted carbon-fibre bonnet and 23-inch forged alloy wheels in black, with Blue Nebula brake calipers. Inside, the SV Performance seats are finished in Light Cloud and Ebony Windsor leather.
- Marl Grey Gloss: This body color is combined with a Gloss Carbon Twill outer packexposed bonnet in Carbon Twill and 23-inch alloy wheels in Carbon Gloss with Sunrise Copper brake calipers. The interior is offered in Rosewood and Ebony Windsor.
- Sunrise Copper Satin: For the exterior finish, with Satin Carbon Twill outer packpainted carbon fiber bonnet and 23-inch forged alloy wheels in black with anodized red calipers. The interior seats are upholstered in Ebony Windsor leather.
- Ligurian Black Gloss: It is combined in the body with Satin Carbon Twill outer packexposed carbon fiber hood and 23-inch Carbon Gloss wheels with contrasting Nano Yellow brake calipers. The interior features UltrafabricsTM polyurethane and Cinder and Ebony textiles.
Customers can choose from alternative wheels, including new 22-inch alloy wheels with a mirror-polished finish and contrasting Satin Dark Grey, and brake callipers in a choice of colours. The roof on each Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two can be finished in body colour, the new Satin Forged Carbon Fibre Pack or the Twill Carbon Fibre Pack on the SV Edition One. In addition, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two features unique branding to the front splitter, centre console, sills and direction indicators.
Inside, new Satin Forged Carbon Fibre trim finishes can be selected to match the exterior, with Twill Carbon Fibre trim finishes. Exclusive SV Performance front seats feature integrated headrests, carbon fibre backrests, an illuminated SV logo and extra padded bolsters. They are 16-way adjustable and feature massage and climate control.
The Range Rover Sport SV’s steering wheel has more prominent thumb grips and an illuminated SV mode button (lights up the paddles in red:
- Short press: Puts the vehicle into SV mode, immediately configuring its suspension, powertrain, steering, transmission and active exhaust for maximum performance. It also illuminates the paddle shifters (the +/- symbols) in red.
- Long press: Opens the Configurable Dynamics menu, where the driver can tailor the Range Rover Sport SV’s dynamic characteristics to their preferences.
In the mechanical section, it has the 4.4-liter MHEV biturbo V8 gasoline engine with 635 HP and 750 Nm of torqueThe new Range Rover Sport SV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 290 km/h. It has saved up to 76 kg compared to the preferred model and comes with the option of carbon-ceramic brakes or a carbon-fibre bonnet.
There are summer tyres specially designed for the Range Rover Sport SV, the Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 (275/40R23 front and 305/35R23 rear) and, for winter or off-road use, the standard Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tyres with a unique construction, tread pattern and compound.
