The WSBK weekend in the Czech Republic has had everything: drama, action, script twists … but only two protagonists: Toprak Razgatlioglu and Nicolo Bulega. The first two and outstanding classified of the provisional, the two struts right now of the championship and the two pilots that are fastest rolling this season, monopolized all the attention in Most.
The drama, of which we also had something on Sunday, really arrived on Friday with a very hard fall of Nicolo Bulega during the FP1. The Italian lost control of his Ducati and came out catapulting. Although, fortunately, he could follow the rest of the weekend. Even so, it was unknown to know how it would affect him, but doubts did not last long.
Czech Republic SBK – Carrera 1: Toprak does not miss the opportunity
Impacable, with iron hand, imposing a rhythm that no one can continue and shine with a BMW M1000RR to which it takes to the last thousandth. Thus the first victory of the weekend cemented. After containing Bulega after the exit, the Turk began to impose a rhythm that the Italian could only continue from afar.
The level shown by Toprak makes it clear that it will not be carried away and that it will do everything possible. It was literally unattainable for a Bulega who was even able to award a second position and minimize losses. Meanwhile, Danilo Petrucci opting for the only thing that leaves Razgatlioglu and Bulega this 2025 completed the podium.
A podium that this time Alex Lowes’s bimota had closer than neck although, yes, almost 15 seconds from victory. In any case, a small step ahead of the KB998 Rimini that still has much to improve. Although he ran out of podium, Bautista was another of the great protagonists of the race. And it is that the Spanish was relegated to the tenth position after they touched him at the exit and was climbing squares until that fifth place.
SBK Czech Republic – SUPERPOLE RACE: Bulega tries, but Razgatlioglu does not yield

After what was seen on Saturday, with a toprak so above its rivals, it was expected that on Sunday we could see a repetition starting with the superpole Race. Toprak, who left from Pole was looking for victory, but Bulega did everything in his hands to try to avoid it. So it came out better than the Turk and the Italian went to the front before starting an overtaking festival that ended after a small Bulleta error at the end of the line for which he had to give up a second.
Even so, Toprak achieved a victory without palliative and cut another three points in the general to its maximum rival that “only” could be second. The podium was again for Danilo Petrucci, although again far from the leaders. Interestingly, the “Top5” was the same as in Saturday’s race.
SBK Czech Republic – Carrera 2: Duel to the finish line with unexpected ending: Bulleta Victoria

Two pilots looking for victory and, of course, the title at the end of the season. In that we can summarize both the second race of the weekend and what we carry as a championship. Everything seems possible, none ever surrenders and the two are so far from the rest, so we witness a career that was decided by a simple detail and with the entire squad far from them.
A squad in which they were not ray or baptist after a fall in the first curve, after Jonathan Rea touched Álvaro, and he took a Xavi Vierge that received a strong impact and that, as a consequence, could have some fracture on his foot. Alex Lowes also was involved.
Without the two Spaniards in the race, Razgatlioglu seemed on the way to victory but Bulega was not willing to give in. So much so that in the last lap it was cutting the difference until it was rewinding of Razgatlioglu that it saw the victory escape after the front wheel of its BMW was built three times on the finish line and the electronic management to cut power to wasting the right time so that Bulega advances it for 27 thousandths.
As we said in the Czech Republic, they were Bulega, Razgatlioglu and the rest because the podium, which completed Danilo Petrucci again although fighting with Sam Lowes, was more than 16 seconds. An abysmal difference for a championship in which much more equality is always expected. And that the BMW with the Ducati are already being subject to technical “penalties”, but the level of its two main pilots is so high that or with those …
After Most’s appointment, Bulega is still leader but with three points a fewer to reason, 31 in total. Danilo Petrucci, who goes up to third position to the detriment of Álvaro Bautista, is 106 points behind the Italian and 80 of Troprak and all this after only five of the twelve scheduled rounds. The next one in a month will be in Misano, Bulega territory.
