After a great first edition, the BMW Motorrad RR Iberia Cup is getting closer to starting the second season of its story. The only Official BMW Motorrad RR Cup, promoted by BMW Motorrad Spain and Portugal and organized by Racetech BMSwas a success in 2023.
The contest, designed for all those who want to compete with the BMW M 1000 RR and S 1000 RR, had a total of 45 registered pilots throughout the entire championship, 8 of them professionals, and the course of the season was very exciting from start to finish.
Registrations will continue with the same dynamics and prices as last year: pilots will be able to choose between a individual registration to a race for a price of 375 eurosor register at complete championship for a total price of 1,750 euros.
The third possibility of registration, called Complete Championship Premium Packis to sign up for the entire season with two free rounds per weekend, box included and Welcome Pack, all for a price of 2,450 euros for the whole year.
Calendar, advantages and categories of the BMW Motorrad RR Iberia Cup 2024
The BMW Motorrad RR Iberia Cup will be divided into three categories in relation to the technical development of each motorcycle: Superbike, Stock and Open and will have a general classification covering all categories.
Registration in the BMW Motorrad RR Iberia Cupin the Complete Championship or Premium Pack Championship options, allows access to very special conditions both in the purchase of a BMW S 1000 RR or M 1000 RR and in the spare parts for it.
This year the calendar will be made up of six quotesall of them on top-level circuits in Spain and Portugal:
- April 20 and 21 Ricardo Tormo Circuit (Valencia)
- May 18 and 19 Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit
- June 8 and 9 in Estoril
- July 20 and 21 in Portimao
- September 7 and 8 Jerez
- November 16 and 17 in Navarra
