Rider Soul Guadalajara closes an edition marked by roads, rain and the desire to repeat

There are motorcycle routes that are remembered for the number of km and others that remain in memory for everything that happens between departure and arrival. and the edition of Rider Soul held in Guadalajara clearly belongs to the second group. The penultimate event of 2026 brought together «participants arriving from 8 autonomous communities» and took them to discover some of the most interesting corners of central Spain through a tour designed under the direction of Gustavo Cuervo.

The proposal kept intact the philosophy that defines Rider Soul since his birth:there is no timer, classification or obligation to complete a certain distance“The participant decides how he wants to live the day and, during the route itself, can choose between completing approximately 300 km or continuing until reaching the option of 500. And this approach is precisely one of the elements that differentiates Rider Soul of a conventional route.

The departure and arrival were located in the Fuente de la Niña Municipal Stadiumin Guadalajara. From there began a day that took the pilots along the roads of Guadalajara, Madrid, Segovia and Soria, combining sections of curves, landscapes, historical towns and different points of interest. A pass.

Undoubtedly, the seal of Gustavo Cuervo It was noticeable in a route designed so that the road was much more than a simple means to reach the next point. The El Villar Dam, the Puerto de la Puebla, the Lobos River Canyon and the Río Dulce Ravine were some of the scenarios that were part of a route in which towns such as Montejo de la Sierra, San Esteban de Gormaz, El Burgo de Osma, Sigüenza, Atienza or Jadraque also appeared.

It’s not a coincidence. Rider Soul had planned its route from the beginning as a secret route that was progressively discovered, with the riders taking charge of navigation and advancing from waypoint to waypoint. It is a formula that seeks to make the driver pay attention to both the road and what appears around him. Without a doubt, you have to be attentive.

500 km despite rain and fog

The weather also added an “extra dose of adventure.” Rain and fog appeared in different areas of the route and forced some sections to be approached with greater attention. Even so, about 60% of the participants decided to continue with the option Rider Soul 500. That fact sums up the character of the day quite well. It wasn’t about arriving first or showing who could do the most km, but about deciding how far each person wanted to go.

A philosophy that also allowed very different profiles to share the road: from regular participants in this type of experience to pilots who were facing a route of these characteristics for the first time. One of the most representative examples was that of a participant who faced his first Rider Soul accompanied by his 11-year-old son and who finally chose to complete the longest route.

Beyond the kilometers, gastronomy

The experience did not end in the curves. As had already been stated in the call, gastronomy and local products had an important role in the day, with different refreshment points distributed throughout the route. Atienza Sausages, Alcarria Honey and Refeelof Mahou San Miguelaccompanied the participants during the route. And, in Guadalajara, one of the most recognizable moments of this edition was expected: the scrambled eggs with ham prepared with the collaboration of Rujamar, Sausages Atienza and the Alcarreño Motoclub.

Because one Rider Soul It doesn’t necessarily end when the engine is turned off. A good part of the experience is built precisely around those conversations after the route, when participants compare the sections they liked the most, comment on the weather or discover that they have shared km with someone who until a few hours before was a complete stranger.

The “Golden Eggs” awards are launched

Guadalajara also served to launch the awards Golden Eggsan initiative linked to Rujamar which aims to become a tradition in future editions.

In this first delivery there was recognition for the Alcarreño Motoclubfor his career and support of motorcycling; for Ducatistas Madridfor his involvement with Rider Soul and its presence in both Madrid and Guadalajara; and for 2 friends who arrived from Granada, who received the Golden Egg of Courage after facing one of the longest trips to participate in the event.

Without a doubt, another of the important points of the edition was the security device deployed by FORSAN. As we already suspected, 4 healthcare motorcycles moved ahead of the group and changed positions as the day progressed to stay close to the different participants. In addition, this device was joined by a team in Guadalajara in charge of monitoring in real time the positions shared by the bikers and maintaining communication with the units deployed on the road. What a blast!

The event also served to test a geolocation system that allowed participants to be located during the tour and facilitate the coordination of assistance resources. A particularly interesting tool in a proposal based on long routes, different groups and secondary roads.

Rider Soul: the community that is already thinking about the next

Perhaps the best way to measure the result of an experience like Rider Soul It is not about counting registrations or km, but checking what happens when the participants return home. And in the Guadalajara edition, the answer seems quite clear: “Count on us for the next one“, “looking forward to the next one” either “It has been a very good experience“were some of the messages that arrived after the contest. And, that is precisely where Rider Soul seems to have found its space.

Gift Israel Medranodriver Rider Soul and CEO of Medis Groupcommented: “We leave Guadalajara very proud of what we experienced and, above all, of having shared it with all those who trusted Rider Soul. We have seen people enjoy themselves, discover roads, share the experience and come wanting more. Behind it there has also been a team and collaborators who have gone out of their way to take care of every detail and allow the participants to focus on enjoying themselves. That many are already telling us that they want to repeat is the best reward”.

Thus, Guadalajara brings to a close an important stage for Rider Soul. But, be careful, the proposal continues to grow and its 2026 calendar still includes the Albaida event, in Valencia, scheduled for October 24. You can’t miss it! We will be there.
