Royal Enfield’s future INT 750 “Interceptor” closer to production than ever

Royal Enfield has started this 2025 at full capacity, testing some test mules related to models such as the future INT 750. Furthermore, everything indicates that any of the motorcycles that will be presented in the coming months are in a fairly advanced state of development. Today we can offer you some of the key aspects of the model, thanks to the images collected by Rushlane colleagues recently.

Royal Enfield INT 750: More power and better equipment

The headline accurately summarizes what is expected from the future “seven and a half” Interceptor on which the brand is working. But it is not the only one that will reach its range using the new oversized platform with respect to the current 650. Previously, we have also met other mules related to the future Himalayan 750 and the most likely Continental GT in a sports version.

The latter is equipped with a front fairing and a more inclined driving position than in the current version of the model. In any case, all of them share common elements that take into account the arrival of a new platform. From the inclusion of a double front disc in the braking system, as well as improvements to the level of equipment and finishes.

The local media is betting on an increase in the displacement of the engine that equips the 650 models that are currently sold. In this way we would be talking about a displacement around 750 ccwith the consequent increase in benefits. Although, for the moment, it seems that the rest of the elements of the cycle part (suspensions and chassis) remain unchanged, we find another series of changes focused on the equipment that the INT 750 could wear in its final version.

Among them, the 5” TFT instrument panel stands out, released last year on the Himalayan 450. This includes an intuitive interface, with Google Maps integration and a USB-C charging port. Likewise, the alloy wheel equipment sports a new design, as does the rear lighting system, now circular in shape, both the pilot light and the turn signals.

Returning to the mechanical section, the INT 750 is expected to generate power around the 55 HP with a maximum torque of about 60 Nm. Anti-rebound clutch and a six-speed gearbox should be part of the standard equipment. In any case, it will not be until the end of this year or the beginning of next 2026 when we will be able to meet the expected new generation Interceptor “in person.”
