Stefan Pierer has resigned from his position in the Board of Directors of KTM AG. The one who was the architect of the brutal growth of KTM in the last three decades, and also responsible for the situation that the brand crosses, has taken a step to the side in terms of the KTM address.
In a press release it was claimed that KTM AG began a new stage with Piere by giving the command to Gottfired Neumeister, with whom so far shared the position of co-zoo in the orange brand.
This news comes days after the approval of the Restructuring Plan by banks and suppliers was made public. With the channeled situation, Pierer gives its position as KTM has announced that Verena Schneglberger-Grossmann, attorney and director of the Legal Department, will be the new member of the Board of Directors of KTM AG.

For its part, Pierer dissociates in this way of KTM, although it will continue as co-cement of Piere Mobility Ag. The Supervision Council took the opportunity to thank Stefan to piere his work: “In the last 33 years, Stefan Pierer has turned KTM into a global brand and the largest motorcycle manufacturer in Europe.”
Meanwhile, Piere, declares: “I wish Gottfried Neumeister all the best. I have found the perfect successor in him and I am convinced that he will successfully lead the company to the future ”.
