Suzuki GSX-R1000 Isle of Man TT Edition that today we bring you to this section. It is for sale at the famous British dealership The Bike Specialists and it can be ours for the “modest price” of 8,999 pounds, about 10,000 euros in exchange.
As detailed in the announcement itself, it currently has only 6,436 miles, about 10,000 km, with the last service last year with just 24 miles less than what it currently shows. That is, the motorcycle is completely revised and ready to enjoy. Although taking into account the few copies that make up this limited series, it is likely that whoever acquires it will end up keeping it as an investment.
Suzuki GSX-R1000 Isle of Man TT Edition in detail
This Suzuki GSX-R1000 Isle of Man TT Edition, registered in 2007, belongs to the model series known in internal code as K7. We are before the copy 36 of the 150 manufactured in commemoration of the 100 years of the famous test. The most significant features that identify this special and limited edition are:
- A unique paint scheme (red and silver)
- Yoshimura GP Evo dual-outlet exhaust system
- Tinted dome
- Laser engraving of the special edition on the seatpost
The GSX-R1000 Isle of Man TT Edition uses the well-known 999 cc four-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, 6-speed transmission and a declared maximum power of 185 HP at 12,000 rpm. Its double aluminum beam chassis works together with a suspension system commanded by an inverted front fork along with a rear monoshock, both elements fully adjustable.
Braking is provided by a double 310 mm disc, actuated by 4-piston calipers, in the front axle. At the rear, a third 220 mm diameter disc does the rest. With a declared maximum weight of 192 kilos, the GSX-R1000 Isle of Man TT Edition manages to exceed 290 km/h maximum speed. A device not suitable for inexperienced hands.
