The strategic plan initiated by Buell at the beginning of 2023 seems to remain unchanged more than two years later. The announcement by the brand of the next launch of the new Super Cruiser and Superouring 2025 It is the most reliable test in this regard. In fact, on July 1, the reserve period of the latter will open, with a suggested price in its native country of $ 22,495. Subsequently, when the model reaches official distributors, this rate will increase to 23,995 euros.
In any case, the relevant thing is that Buell has already revealed the main technical aspects that will shape the expected 2025 superouring. Although we were clear about some of them, for example the type of engine that will equip, there are others that until now had remained in a media limbo intention. Today we will answer a good part of those questions, discovering everything we can expect from the new Sport-Touring mount of the Yankee firm.
Buell Supeouring 2025: Double identity
To put in context the arrival of the new 2025 superouring we must look back until the moment Buell officially presented the model at the Daytona Bike Week 2023 with her sister of the Super Cruiser range. Already then the brand made clear two issues around the model:
- On the one hand, it would be equipped with the well-known V-Twin engine of 1,190 cc that mount the current 1190sx and Hammerhead.
- On the other we would be facing the fastest adaptable motorcycle in the world, easily mutating in a circuit machine in less than an hour.
Both characteristics are still a cornerstone of the project, as confirmed from the brand itself. In this way we find that the 2025 surouring includes a new modular front with lighthouse set, higher handle, advanced foot controls, a new seat and side suitcases. In any case the brand warns that “Production specifications are subject to slight variations after the launch of the model.”
Focusing on the two elements that make up the platform on which this 2025 surouring is developed, we have on one side a double aluminum beam chassis and the other the well-known ET-V2 propeller: Bicilindrical in V to 72 ° with liquid cooling and electronic injection associated with a change of six relationships. The final result is 185 hp of maximum power at 10,600 rpm and 137.8 Nm at 8,200 laps.
BUELL has declared that the 2025 superouring 200 kilograms drythanks among other things on the arrival of components made of carbon fiber on its front. Another curious detail, in the case of a Buell, refers to the braking equipment. For the occasion the Yankee brand leaves behind the striking front perimeter disc. The new model will use a double EBR disc and Brembo radial tweezers.
The team will be anchored to 17 ”tires, shoes are with Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tires. As for the suspensions, Fox components have been chosen, including a steering shock absorber within the standard equipment. Other details worth mentioning are for example the personalized seat signed by Saddlemen or the striking front chaired by a double optic.
The brand will make available to its customers some optional ones with which to configure its new 2025 superouring, including a side suitcase kit, fast change system or an escape equipment. In addition, it will offer various equipment packages where several of these extras can be combined, as well as three different color schemes: blue, orange and gray.
As they detail from Cycle World “BUELL offers early discounts to interested buyers who have made a tank of $ 50 per early order; the deadline for selling orders opens on July 1, 2025. The early price will be $ 22,495 for deposits made between July 1 and August 31, 2025; after that date, the sale price suggested by the manufacturer (PVP) will be applied $ 23,995. “
Finally, statements from the brand executive director Bill Melvin. This confirmed the launch of the new Buell Supeouring 2025, even before the expected custom variant: “We are delighted to launch the Buell Supeouring shortly before the launch of the Super Cruiser. It is a great year for Buell; we are excited to see how the hard work and dedication of our team bear fruit.”
