The beginning of the World Ducati Week 2024which will take place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, is imminent. For several months, the people of the brand have been working to offer thousands of enthusiasts an extraordinary weekend of excitement, passion and fun.
The Bologna-based manufacturer has published the programme for these three days of celebration, dedicated to all motorcycling enthusiasts, on the official website and on the WDW App (downloadable on Apple and Android devices). This is the most extensive calendar of activities in the history of World Ducati Week, with unique and unrepeatable events that join other experiences scheduled over the three days of the event.
The exhibition dedicated to the history of the Ducati 916 family and the presence of the Truck – Team MX showcasing the new and exciting chapter of Ducati in motocross are just some of the highlights. The objective is clear: to concentrate and convey the essence of Ducati to the participants, respecting the motto “All in One”.
The pace of World Ducati Week 2024 will be very high from the opening day on Friday 26 July. In the morning, the show on the track will get underway with the traditional Lap of Honour, in which all the riders present at the event will take part, including the legendary ones who have driven the red Borgo Panigale bikes to victory on circuits around the world.
Carl Fogarty, Troy Bayliss, Carlos Checa, Régis Laconi and Rubén Xaus will join today’s riders, riding side by side on their racing bikes, celebrating the pride of being Ducati riders. The first moments of action of the eagerly awaited Lenovo Race of Champions are scheduled for Friday afternoon: a unique race in the world will see 15 Ducati Corse riders compete on Panigale V4 bikes. Friday’s free practice and qualifying sessions promise to offer a great spectacle to the public.
The end of the Lenovo Race of Champions qualification will mark the beginning of the alignment maneuvers for the Parade, another of the rituals of the World Ducati Week 2024 beloved by Ducati fans. Starting from a lap of the Misano circuit, the colourful snake of motorbikes will then criss-cross the streets of the Romagna Riviera, leading thousands of enthusiasts to the beach of Bagno Samsara in Riccione, the setting for the “Land of Joy at the Beach” party.
This year, Samsara Beach will also host the “Rustida” (traditional barbecue), followed by an evening of music and fun to celebrate 10 years of the Ducati Scrambler. Another exciting celebration activity is planned for early afternoon on Saturday 27 July on the track, reserved for Ducati 916 owners, which will once again feature Carl Fogarty and Troy Bayliss. In tribute to a family of motorcycles that has indelibly marked the history of the Italian manufacturer, and which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024.
Shortly afterwards, the spotlight will be on the starting grid of the Lenovo Race of Champions, the unmissable event of this great Ducati party. The list of riders taking part in this race is world class, with more than 20 world titles. We will be able to count on the presence of Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini, Álvaro Bautista, Nicolò Bulega, Marco Bezzecchi, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Andrea Iannone, Glenn Irwin, Álex Márquez, Marc Márquez, Jorge Martín, Franco Morbidelli, Danilo Petrucci, Michele Pirro and Michael Ruben Rinaldi.
At the end of the Lenovo Race of Champions, the “Saturday Night Show” will be launched World Ducati Week 2024which will begin with a track invasion by the crowd of fans to celebrate the race podium. After allowing everyone to eat on the circuit thanks to a series of food trucks installed in the paddock, it will continue with an unforgettable party on the track, which will transform the Misano World Circuit into an open-air disco to the sound of DJ sets by Fargetta, Marco Melandri and Rudeejay.
The schedule for Saturday 27 July represents for all intents and purposes an event within the event, which Ducati has defined as “The Night of Champions” and for which a specific ticket has been created. This special ticket allows access to the event from 3:00 p.m. until late at night. Exclusive tickets are on sale on the VivaTicket and TicketOne platforms.
All the special events mentioned above are part of a programme of activities that includes experiences to be enjoyed over the three days of the event, organised by Ducati on the track, in the paddock and around the Misano World Circuit. On the track there will also be space for time slots reserved for on-track sessions with your own bike, for the Stuntmen Shows with Emilio Zamora and Victor Chelenkov, for MotoEx2 with the Ducati V21L competing in the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, and for the Lamborghini Hot Laps.
On the other hand, in the area dedicated to off-road there will be the opportunity to experience the DRE Adventure, the DRE Academy driving experience designed for enthusiasts who want to learn all the secrets of off-roading. The Road Test Rides will start from the outdoor square of the Misano World Circuit with the opportunity to take a tour with models from the Ducati range, accompanied by qualified personnel. Among the novelties of this event, there will be a DRE Academy, a DRE Adventure, a DRE Academy … World Ducati Week 2024 There is also the possibility of carrying out Road Test Drives, at the wheel of a Lamborghini.
Inside the paddock, a full programme of activities will be made up of Ducati Talks (meetings with exclusive speakers on topics related to the world of Ducati), various events within the product areas (Adrenaline & Fun, Travel & Adventure, Lifestyle), the Service and Shop & Outlet services, the fun of Assembly-Disassembly, Design Live Sketching coordinated by the designers of the Ducati Style Centre and other activities to discover together with other enthusiasts. For future Ducati fans there will also be two Kids Areas with a fun programme of dedicated activities.
Contributing to the spectacle in the paddock will also be a benchmark in the field of entertainment such as Monster Energy, which will participate in this event for the first time. World Ducati Week 2024 with two attractive activities: on the one hand, the MTB Skills Challenge will bring the adrenaline of mountain bikes to the paddock, testing the skills of the participants, and on the other, the Barber Shop will allow visitors to enjoy personalized haircuts and shaves.
As is now tradition, the 2024 edition of World Ducati Week will also be enriched by an exclusive world product preview, dedicated to the event’s participants. A dedicated space will be set aside for this purpose within the paddock, allowing fans to see and touch a new Ducati model up close, discovering its technical features alongside the engineers who conceived, developed and created it.
Tickets to participate in World Ducati Week 2024 are available in different ticket packages for Bikers (with a motorcycle) and for Visitors (without a motorcycle or as passengers), for one day or for all three days. Both passes give access to the public areas of the gathering, with the possibility of participating free of charge in numerous activities: from contests to moments to meet Ducati engineers, designers and experts in person, through to autograph sessions with the riders.
