The 2024 edition of the Ducati Global Dealer Conference It took place last Monday, October 21. It is the annual event that allows the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer to connect with its global network of dealers, take stock of last year, share strategies, projects and anticipate new models.
The Ducati Global Dealer Conference is one of the cornerstones of Ducati’s events calendar and in 2024 it was again held completely digitally, allowing all dealers anywhere in the world to virtually connect with the Borgo Panigale headquarters. The convention was simultaneously translated into 8 languages and scheduled online at different times to accommodate all time zones, generating great participation results:
A total of more than 4,000 professionals took part in the meeting, connected from 86 different countries. The theme chosen by the Borgo Panigale company for the Ducati Global Dealer Conference 2024 was «Beyond the ordinary paths«, a motto that fully summarizes the approach with which Ducati looks at the priorities and challenges that await it in the coming years. Starting on the new path in the Offroad segment with the Ducati Desmo450 MX, which has just won the Italian Motocross Championship and will be available for order right at the beginning of 2025.
Ducati Global Dealer Conference: With an eye on the 2025 season
Directed by Francesco MiliciaCEO of Ducati, a good part of the Ducati Global Dealer Conference focused on monitoring the company’s strategy and its strengthening, to analyze in detail how to address business objectives, always in full expression of the values of style, sophistication , features that distinguish Ducati throughout the world.
The conference also featured the participation of Pietro InnocentiCEO of Porsche Italia, who shared some successful examples of the business management of the German brand’s dealer network. Among those invited to the stage was the nine-time Motocross World Champion, Antonio Cairoli, now an integral part of the Ducati team dedicated to the Off-Road project.
One of the most anticipated moments of the Global Dealer Conference 2024 was undoubtedly the preview presentation of the Ducati models for 2025. Global dealers were able to discover the features and innovations of the entire new Ducati range, which to date has already been enriched with the arrival of the new Panigale V4, the renewed 2025 Multistrada V4 family and three new models for Scrambler:
The Icon Dark, the Full Throttle and the Scrambler Ducati 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition. In the coming weeks, other new models will be presented to the public at the Ducati World Première, confirming the Borgo Panigale company’s goal of focusing on an increasingly wider and more complete range of products. As in every Ducati Global Dealer Conference, during the live broadcast, participants were able to interact with Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales & After Sales of Ducati, thanks to an always active chat that allowed real-time communication.
Another opportunity open to everyone was the virtual visit to the Ducati museum and factory. During the convention, the Ducati Dealer Awards were held, in which the best dealers in the three main geographical areas were recognized for their excellent results, as well as the awards for the best online dealer worldwide and the best importer.
The national meeting will be held at the end of the month, in a new opportunity to share and debate the latest advances and objectives of the Spanish market. Through the Global Dealer Conference, Ducati is committed to further strengthening the synergy with its dealers, who act as brand ambassadors and key points of contact between the company and the broad community of Ducati owners.
It is precisely through its distribution network that the motorcycle manufacturer can guarantee high-quality service, successfully promote its products and spread the passion for Ducati throughout the world. To date, Ducati’s sales network includes more than 800 dealers in more than 90 countries around the world.
The Ducati website has a dealer section with the “Dealer Locator” service that offers information on the services and opening hours of all dealers in the network.
