Basically, because to do so they should have a presence in both sectors. Within this select club is Suzuki, which has just launched this GSX-R1000R Stealth. A special and limited edition of which Only 10 copies will be assembled and which “It is inspired by the Suzuki Stealth Line family of outboard engines”as stated by the brand.

The GSX-R saga celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2026 and does so by demonstrating, once again, why it continues to be one of the reference families when we talk about sportiness and performance. In this context, the Japanese firm has come up with different initiatives in the markets where it has a presence, including the Italian one with this GSX-R1000R Stealth. A special and limited series that the brand itself defines as:
“The GSX-R1000R Stealth is inspired by the Suzuki Stealth Line family of outboard engines, sporting black paint with gloss and matte details that gives it an aggressive yet elegant look. The titanium Akrapovic exhaust adds an additional touch of style and enhances the unique performance of the bike. The GSX-R1000R Stealth is available in just 10 numbered units.”
The long-awaited return that we all expected
We must remember that 2026 marked the return of the GSX-R1000R to European markets. It did so after a thorough update without giving up 4 decades of racing DNA. More electronics, an engine tuned to the Euro5+ and a top-level cycle package to continue being a reference superbike both on the road and on the track. After its official launch we had the opportunity to test it thoroughly and our final conclusion leaves no room for doubt:
We are facing a “A more balanced, precise and usable superbike, which evolves in engine, electronics and aerodynamics without losing the GSX-R character”as our tester confirmed Sara Roman after a full day of testing at the Monteblanco circuit. To achieve this result Suzuki has not spared an iota in the general configuration of the model.
“Solid arguments and with intact ambition”
The well-known 999.8 cc inline tetra-cylinder has been thoroughly revised to continue offering power in abundance and also in an efficient and fully usable way. It maintains the SR-VVT variable timing system and features lighter forged pistons, a new distribution chain, eight-hole injectors and a redesigned and more compact exhaust system.
The GSX-R1000R now offers 195 hp at 13,200 rpm, with a torque of 110 Nm at 11,000 rpm. In addition, the brand has worked especially on fine-tuning its chassis, which highlights its aluminum double-beam perimeter chassis, Showa suspensions and powerful braking by Brembo. The six-spoke forged aluminum wheels mount some Bridgestone Battlax Racing Street RS11valid for both road and circuit runs.

For this special edition GSX-R1000R Stealth, Suzuki includes, in addition to the aforementioned chromatic finish, specific equipment that gives it extra personality. Among the main elements we can highlight:

The reservation of the only 10 units that give life to this limited series GSX-R1000R Stealth, is now open on the official Suzuki Italia website. The brand announces a final price of 21,690 euroswhich represents an increase of 1,200 euros compared to the standard variant of the model offered in the transalpine country.
