No one can doubt the merit and dedication that ZXMoto is implementing in each and every one of its motorcycles. Looking ahead to 2027, the company owned by the founder of Kove, has prepared a complete range with which to satisfy the tastes and demands of European fans. Among them, the 820RR, 500F, 820R, 820X and 450Rally.
Furthermore, the brand remains very focused on the field of competition, demonstrating extraordinary competitiveness on the track. That is why by 2027, ZXMoto will face a three-pronged sports program. In addition to maintaining its participation in WSSP, the brand will debut in both the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) and the World Motocross Championship (MXGP).
ZXMoto 820RR in detail
We are looking at the production version of the WSSP competition prototype, conceived as a high-performance machine without concessions and aimed at offering maximum performance on the circuit, with qualities already demonstrated in the World Supersport. The 820RR approved for the road retains, as far as possible, the dynamic behavior of the racing version. It will be launched in Europe next spring.
ZXMoto 500F in detail
A retro-style naked with a timeless aesthetic, equipped with a proven and resistant 500 cc four-cylinder engine. The renewed 500F incorporates a ride-by-wire electronic accelerator, which allows the electronic driving aids to be expanded. It thus combines a classic image with completely modern dynamic behavior, designed for fans of motorcycles with retro aesthetics.
ZXMoto 820R in detail
Derived from the 820 platform, the 820R streetfighter is scheduled to arrive in Europe next spring. Compared to the track-oriented 820RR, it offers a more relaxed and ergonomic riding position and more accessible handling. Its combination of commuting practicality and sporty performance makes it attractive to a much broader spectrum of riders.
ZXMoto 820X in detail
ZXMoto’s first ADV model, developed from scratch on the 820 platform, is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2027. It will incorporate the brand’s most complete set of electronic driving aids to date, including electronically regulated suspensions and adaptive cruise control, to, together with its 27 l aluminum tank, improve the experience on long-distance adventure trips.
ZXMoto 450Rally in detail
Motorcycle approved for road use and developed in parallel to the competition version of the W2RC. It retains the essential DNA of the ZXMoto machines participating in the Dakar and takes advantage of data obtained in real rally-raid conditions. Among its main improvements are reliability, weight optimization and suspension design. Its arrival on the market is scheduled for the second half of 2027.
Other news from the brand:
- 1,100 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine: Will offer more power and less weight than conventional boxer configurations. Equipped with a clutch system switchable between automatic and manual operation, this engine will power future flagship motorcycles in the ADV, grand tourer and cruiser segments.
- 350 Dualsport: versatile and accessible all-terrain motorcycle, intended for novice riders, powered by a robust 350 cc oil-cooled engine.
- 300 Enduro: motorcycle focused on the most demanding enduro competition, equipped with a two-stroke fuel-injected engine, which offers immediate, precise and controllable power delivery.
Sports plans for 2027
At EICMA 2025, ZXMoto announced its alliance with the Evanbros Racing Team to participate in the World Supersport Championship. In the recently concluded 2026 WorldSBK season, the ZXMoto 820RR competition demonstrated extraordinary competitiveness on the track. Piloted by Valentin Debise, it achieved six victories and runner-up in the riders’ championship, while ZXMoto finished third in the manufacturers’ classification.
The excellent results obtained in the WorldSBK paddock have significantly increased the international projection of the 820RR. They also reflect the brand’s fundamental philosophy: transferring technology developed in competition to street models. Continuously collected race data allows the 820 platform to be further refined and further exploited to its full performance potential.
Looking ahead to 2027, it will maintain its participation in WSSP, and will make its debut in the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC), as well as in the World Motocross Championship (MXGP). For the W2RC, ZXMoto has closed a collaboration agreement with Joyride and has incorporated two experienced riders with experience in the Dakar: Tobias Ebster and Skyler Howes.
Both debuted the new rally bike at the Morocco Rally in September, where they completed fruitful test sessions. The Zhitai ZXMoto Joyride Factory Rally Team will face its first Dakar in the 2027 season with the aim of both motorcycles reaching the finish line.
