The enduro with more torque than a sports and less weight than a 125

He Strategic Product Expansion Plan launched by Ultraviolette continues to bear fruit in these first measures of the year, with official presentations such as this Shockwave. An offroad focused on the maximum level enduro that stands out for a series of really interesting qualities. Especially taking into account the segment to compete and the level of some of its most direct rivals.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: benefits and agility in adventure mode

After making known to “The most advanced scooter in the world”, the new Tesseract, Ultraviolette did the same with the shockwave, a model focused on the adventure that distills essence rally on the four sides.

Not only for its marked line in the purest style of the mounts that dispute the most important raids on the planet. Also for compact forms, a really low weight and a level of sufficient benefits to be able to enjoy the mud in the best way.

Thanks to Gaadi Waadi’s companions we have known first -hand the details that wrap the birth of shockwave. Among them we can highlight the following aspects as the most relevant of the model:

  • Maximum speed: 120 km/h
  • Maximum autonomy: 165 km
  • Maximum weight: 120 kilograms
  • Maximum power: 14.5 hp
  • Maximum pair: 505 nm

As we see, the technical-prescription compendium that Ultraviolette has prepared for its new shockwave does not paint anything wrong. To this we must add a equipment that has latest generation elements within the standard endowment. To highlight, for example, the ABS systems and traction control, or the up to six levels of regenerative braking that it has.

The cycle part is made up of a 37 mm inverted fork, with 200 mm of travel and a central rear shock with up to 180 mm between top. A pair of lobed discs preside over the braking: 270 mm in diameter and driven by a double piston clamp on the front axle and 240 mm bitten by a monopiston clamp in the rear wheel. These are anchored in paths of radial type 19 and 17 inches, in front and behind respectively, roads with offroad tires.

To all of the above, a light and resistant appearance chassis is added that is wrapped by the sharp silhouette that their fibers provide. The ultraviolette shockwave also has Full-Led lighting, TFT screen with integrated connectivity, four traction levels and disconnectable ABS. All this for a price that, in its launch offer, starts from 149,999 rupees, just under 1,600 euros to change.

The brand has already opened the online reservation period and confirms that the first units will be delivered during the first quarter of 2026. We assume that from this moment it will begin to be offered by these latitudes, although it is still early to know the global expansion plans in which Ultraviolette works, and that parts of the world will be included within them.
