After the Round of the Czech Republic, Tito Rabat and the Yamaha Motoxringing Worldsbk Team put an end to their relationship as a mutual agreement. The Spanish pilot was left without a motorcycle to compete, and it seemed that the rest of the season could pass it blank until the official confirmation has arrived that a Honda CBR1000RR-R Honda of the Miem Honda will pass, from this weekend.
In this way, Rabat will be present in the WSBK round in Donington, the seventh of the season and only the Misano appointment will have been lost, disputed practically a month ago. It is a new turn of the world champion of Moto2 in 2014, which since he debuted at the WSBK in 2021 has already gone through four different brands and equipment.
Tito Rabat arrived at the championship by Barni Racing Team with a Ducati, although they separated their paths before the end of the season and reappeared with the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing, with whom he competed in several races between that year and 2023, to become permanent pilot in 2024.
Facing this 2025 Rabat, as we said, in the Yamaha Motoxringing Worldsbk Team to pilot a Yamaha R1 with which he could not stand out. Now, after the end of the collaboration between Tarran Mackenzie and the Miemo Honda, there was an available square that the Catalan will occupy from Donington.

Of course, the challenge will be capital, because they have not been able to perform previous tests and everything will have to be tested on the march on the British track. Even so, Tito wants this new challenge and a motorcycle that he does not know in his version of SBK although he did compete with a CBR1000RR-R in his passage through the slender:
“After not being able to run in Misano, I face this round in Donington with great desire and motivation. It will be the first time that I pilot the Superbike Honda and that works with the team, everything without any previous preparation or test, so obviously it will not be easy. But it is a great opportunity and I will do my best to take advantage of it. The goal will be to improve step by step in each session and see how far we can get. This opportunity and I hope to live up to it. ”
Interestingly, his partner this weekend will be precisely one of his rivals in the Esbk, the Portuguese Ivo Lopes, although in this case he arrives as a substitute for Zaqhwan Zaidi while the bad guy competes in Motegi in the Asian championship.
