At the end of 2023, as we already told you at the time, yamaha unveiled its latest sporting gem of the season (so far) in Europe, the XSR900 GP. This beauty, with its nostalgic design maximized by its semi-fairing, its emblematic paint inspired by the YZR500 (RD500), the power of its three-cylinder engine and the electronic technology inherited directly from the new MT-09has successfully captivated all lovers of sneakers with a flavor of the last century.
The Yamaha XSR900 GP has not yet been officially released in Japan, and this means that Y’s Gear body modification kits are still waiting. But the information provided by our Japanese colleagues suggests that these kits could be close to mass production.

The first kit, as we pointed out at the beginning, pays tribute to the iconic paint design of the FZ400R from the 80s. Its semi-fairing impregnated with an aged dark blue and adorned with white and red lines stands out.
Clearly, it evokes the spirit of racing at that time. The fuel tank and fairing follow the same three-color palette.
The other kit is inspired by the RZV500Rthat is, the commercial version of the legendary YZR500R. With this kit, the XSR900GP maintains the essence of the design of the FZ400R, but swaps the colors red and blue, creating a different image. It also includes details such as an engine block ornament.
