The “Made in Italy” essence in all its splendor

Ducati has officially presented its new Panigale V4 Tricolorea special version in a Numbered and limited series of 1,000 units with an exclusive decoration and, for the first time, in a Tricolore, equipped with components that improve performance on the track. A tribute to “Made in Italy” and the history of Ducati, reinterpreting the decoration of the 1984 750 F1 in a modern key.

A motorcycle that began, exactly forty years ago, the history of modern Borgo Panigale supersport motorcycles. A tricolor decoration that in the following years was dedicated to the most prestigious versions of the different generations of Ducati Superbikes, starting with the first 851 Desmoquattro from 1988.

Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore: New asymmetric decoration, designed by Aldo Drudi and the Centro Stile Ducati

The Panigale V4 Tricolore was unveiled to the public at an event organized with the participation of partner Eataly, in the context of Art Basel week in Miami Beach, the US edition of the most prestigious art fair on the old continent. This world premiere was attended by the Vice President of Global Sales, Francesco Miliciaand the Director of Strategy and Style Center, Andrea Ferraresiwho declared:

“In Miami and at Art Basel in particular we feel at home. “Ducati is the only motorcycle brand capable of not only combining sophisticated technology and sensual beauty, but also of breaking away from the typical schemes of sports decorations to create works of art, using the motorcycle as a canvas.”

The Panigale V4 Tricolore, designed by Drudi Performance and the Centro Stile Ducati, is based on the new 2025 Panigale V4. Its white, red and green design, proposed for the first time in an asymmetric version, celebrates the colors of the Italian flag by combining them with the black and white of the checkered flag , shown at the bottom of the fairing. The plates with the number one, on the front and on the sides of the fairing, are reminiscent of those of the most sporty and sophisticated Ducati, such as the Panigale V4 R or the Multistrada Pikes Peak.

A decoration that underlines the aerodynamic surfaces of the bike, with more taut lines that highlight the change in style that marked, with the 2025 Panigale V4, the transition from the sixth to the seventh generation of Ducati Superbikes. The basis of the Panigale V4 Tricolore is, in fact, the new V4 presented last July, protagonist of an important evolutionary leap thanks to an integrated approach to aerodynamics and design, a completely revised chassis and innovative electronic solutions such as the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) and the Race eCBS.

Ducati Panigale V4 Tricolore 2025: The essence "Made in Italy" in all its splendor

For the first time in Ducati’s history, a Tricolore is enriched with technical equipment that improves its performance on the track. In fact, the Panigale V4 Tricolore is equipped with five-spoke carbon fiber wheels that reduce weight by 0.950 kg compared to the forged ones of the Panigale V4 S, reducing the moment of inertia by 12% at the front and 19% at the rear. Thanks to these tires, the agility of the motorcycle increases when changing direction and the tendency of the motorcycle to close the trajectory in acceleration when it is still inclined is amplified.

The new Panigale V4 Tricolore is the first production motorcycle in the world equipped with the Front Brake Pro front braking systemcomposed of two Brembo T-Drive discs with 338.5 mm diameter and 6.2 mm thick discs, that increase braking power and consistency of performance.

These discs, tested by factory Ducati riders in the 2024 Race of Champions, are derived from the competition discs fitted in the World Superbike Championship on the most demanding circuits and are paired with Hypure calipers.

The calipers feature a titanium anodized treatment and an oversized Brembo logo. Finally, the front brake master cylinder is a MCS 19.21 with remote adjustment of the brake lever position, as occurs in MotoGP and Superbike. The special equipment of the Tricolore is completed with a dry clutch, adjustable aluminum footpegs and a GPS module.

Whoever wants to use the Panigale V4 Tricolore on the track will also have access to an aluminum racing tank cover, brake caliper carriers, an open carbon fiber clutch cover and a kit to remove the license plate support, all supplied serial. The experience of riding this collector’s motorcycle will be even more special thanks to the Alcantara seat, the racing plexiglass and the specific animation of the instrumentation when turning on the key.

Each Panigale V4 Tricolore, like all collectible Ducati models, is made unique thanks to the machined aluminum seat post with the model name and serial number. The Panigale V4 Tricolore is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a specific cover for the motorcycle, which are delivered in a special personalized box to match the decoration.

The model number also appears on the aluminum plate on the ignition key. Finally, the exclusivity of the Tricolor is reinforced by the option, reserved for owners, to complete their look with a limited edition helmet and jacket with a color combination that replicates those of the bike.
