A few weeks ago, the Japanese specialist 46works announced, on its social networks, the arrival of the second edition of the limited series R 12 NineT Complete Custom. Already in 2024 they did the same with a first series, but the demand was such that they decided to launch a second batch on the market, with some changes compared to the first version.
This is a collaborative project with the local dealer BMW Motorrad Sagamihara. In fact, it is the Japanese distributor of the German firm, it is in charge of ultimately marketing the 9 examples that will be assembled of the BMW R 12 NineT Complete Custom #02, just as they did at the time with the first edition of this elegant customization.

As the 46works team detailed: “The fully customized R12 nine T 46works, launched last year and quickly sold out due to its popularity, is available in limited quantities for the second time. This time, the bike is completely painted in a special shade of blue 46 + komoji line, and the fairing and seat fairing are also standard equipment.”
They conclude: “It also includes mirrors and a machined emblem. This complete customization enhances the charm of the original, and the engine remains original, so you can have peace of mind with vehicle inspections and maintenance.” Subsequently, the dealership itself notified interested parties that the first copy of this special series was already in its facilities.

In this second edition of the BMW R 12 NineT Complete Custom the main idea was to “reduce costs with the fewest steps possible, while enhancing the charm of this model”, as its creators explain. The end result gives the bike a sleek look, as well as offering improved ergonomics thanks to the addition of the front fairing.
The final price of each of the 9 units that make up this limited series BMW R 12 NineT Complete Custom is 3,297,800 yen, just over 18,000 euros at the exchange rate. They also offer the possibility of equipping a TFT screen for an extra 93,940 yen.
