Triumph finally confirms the marketing in Europe of the new 400 XC scrack, an access motorcycle, but with the soul of a true adventurer. Developed from the 400 cc TR monocylinder platform, this version is committed to delight the user with greater offroad capabilities higher than the standard model until now.
A new version that adds to the family that opened the successful Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 x, maintaining high performance, a design with the unmistakable DNA of Triumph and first level finishes. Paul StraudCommercial director of Triumph Motorcycles, has said about this launch:

TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 400 XC in detail
Designed in Aguckley (United Kingdom), the 400 XC Scrambler is designed to offer a fun, safe and agile driving, both for experienced motorists and for those who premiere in the world of the trail.
Its sculpted deposit with gun guns, the engine with the iconic triangular emblem, the collector with traditional clamp, mechanized cooling fins or the ascending silencer are clear winks to Triumph’s identity.
But there are also modern details that reinforce their attitude, such as the anodized fork in gold, the engine covers with black coating and the molten aluminum tilting. The 400 XC SCRAMBLER condenses all Triumph SCRAMBLER in a modern and accessible proposal. Its design is inspired by the 900 and 1200 Scrabler, and drink directly from those first factory scrack that marked a before and after in the 50s.
Among its most outstanding novelties, it incorporates slight Excel aluminum tires with lateral anchor and metzeler tires Karoo Street Tubels, a combination that significantly improves its offroad capabilities. With 19 “in front and 17” measures behind, this configuration provides greater poise, trust and versatility in all types of land.
At the cycle part level, the XC assembles an inverted fork of 43 mm and a rear shock absorber with Independent Piggyback tank, both with a 150 mm route, which guarantee a fluid driving both in the city and on broken tracks or mountain roads. It also equips an effective braking system with 420 mm 320 mm disk disc, as well as mixed tubess tires.
The set is completed with the disconnectable traction control and the offroad mode of the ABS that provide safety and versatility in all types of roads and a complete technological equipment, including an analog-digital mixed panel, USB-C takes, Full LED lighting, electronic accelerator and anti-theft system with electronic immobilizer.
Likewise, the 400 XC Scrambler combines a contained weight, an accessible seat height (835 mm and with a narrow leg arch) and a dominant driving position that favors control in all kinds of situations. Its ergonomics, especially careful for offroad use, includes high grip stelre that allow a natural standing position.
The heart of the 400 XC Scrambler is a 398 cc monocylindrical engine, developed by Triumph and associated with a six -relationship gearbox that offers us until 40 CV at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 37.5 nm at 6,500 rpm. The driving experience is reinforced by a modern and perfectly integrated electronics. The Bosch switchboard and the electronic accelerator allow a linear and predictable power delivery, ideal both to circulate through the city and to improvise an escape through dirt roads.
As if this were not enough, Triumph offers a wide range of more than 20 specific accessories, jointly developed with the model to guarantee a perfect adjustment and the same quality level.
