As we are telling you, the information comes from certain approval documents presented in Switzerland. And although it is not complete, initial data suggests that both motorcycles will receive engine and chassis upgrades. All after remaining practically unchanged since its launch in 2020. In addition, of course, the German factory was expected to update both models to comply with Euro5+ standards.

Homologation records confirm that both versions will share the engine of the new F 900 GSa model that has been renewed this year, and which we talked to you about at length. This mechanism reaches a maximum power of 103 hp at 8,500 rpm, the same as in previous versions, although the engine torque increases slightly to 93 Nm at 6,750 rpm, compared to 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm of the model that arrives to replace in dealerships.
Regarding weight, the new F 900 R is 5 kg lighter, while the F 900 XR reduces its weight by 2 kg. Wheelbases also vary. The XR 2025 is slightly longer at 1,535 mm, compared to 1,521 mm for the 2024 model, while the R It becomes shorter at 1,515 mm instead of the 1,518 mm of the current version. Finally, both bikes have a slight increase in width.
For now, the origin of these modifications is not entirely clear. Previous images shared by bmw in the RR. H.H. They do not show drastic changes in the design. In fact, the body looks practically the same as current models.
