The Vespa 300 Supersport is reinvented

We all know that when the Australian coach Deus Ex Machina opens its essence box, the result can be really striking and inspiring. A clear example about what we are talking about is this Vespa Don’t Panic that has just announced, a customization that honors the novel “The guide of the galactic autoestopist” of the British writer Douglas Noël Adams.

Vespa Don’t Panic By Deus Ex Machina in Detail

To carry out this project, Deus Ex Machina’s specialist, Jeremy Tagand, has resorted to a Vespa 300 Supersport. This refine the classic curves with high -tech elegance, achieving a perfect balance between the best of the past and the present. To do this, Jeremy got to work to soften the slit of the original rear flashing and the rear light, creating a continuous flow from the seat to the rear.

Under the adjusted rear fender, the registration finds refuge between the fine Kellerman lights. The front flashes received the same treatment. Subsequently, Jeremy repositioned the Kellerman Atto pieces in the grooves of ancient mirrors on the handlebar, leaving the front fork and the wheel in the process exposed.

The new Vespa silhouette is supported by an adjustable suspension YSS Blackline, while the tire equipment rides gums Michelin. A complete Akrapovič, covered with black ceramic, has also been included. In line with the body, the command post received modern but discreet updates: a SIP digital board, motorcycle handles, button controls, mirrors at the handlebar ends and a dark LED lighthouse. Details with powdered coating on the brake levers and the side easel unite the assembly.

For its part, the chassis is covered with satin black with shine flashes, a work carried out by the specialized company Colorfuel. The seat combines comfort and crafts, slightly elevated in the rear to offer support during long journeys and finish in a combination of smooth, drilled and sewer leather, sewn to flow with the natural lines of the VESPA.

In the words of Deus Ex Machina we are facing “A VESPA 300 Supersport reinvented. Classic where matters, modern where it matters, timeless in everything else. Without gadgets or exaggerated explanations: only a machine that assumes its true identity. Affectionately called «Don’t Panic». The name fits. It is not striking or ostentatious, simply sure of yourself. A construction that takes what is already there and makes it something worth looking twice. ”
