The Yamaha Motor Creative Center lent all its help to collaborate in the production of the series, being in charge of both providing 3D data and supporting the recording of the sounds of its YZF-R1 and VMAX models, in addition to collaborating with the World Building on the history and design of a competition motorcycle concept, the Y/AI.
GTMax in detail: Motocross, chases and many motorcycles
This new French film, directed by Olivier Schneider and starring Ava Baya, Jalil Lespert and Jérémie Laheurte, tells the story of Soélie, a motocross racer who must face her greatest fears, to protect her family, when a dangerous gang biker recruits his brother for a robbery.
Michael and his sister become part of a criminal organization that carries out robberies using several fully tuned Yamaha TMax, with different elements that have nothing to do with what we expect to see in a maxiscooter. Knobby wheels, along with an elaborate mechanical kit that includes a turbo system, are among the improvements that the protagonists implement on their motorcycles.
But this is not all, since as explained by Motociclismo.it, we can see other Yamaha models in some of the most exciting action scenes in GTMax. Several Yamaha YZF motocross, Ténéré 700 or various MTs are also part of the cast of the new Netflix film.
Without a doubt a good excuse to enjoy action movies, seasoned with that passion that moves all of us present: motorcycles.
