At a special event held in Madrid, Zero Motorcycles presented its exclusive Zero Legends Cluban initiative dedicated to recognizing those brave people who have exceeded 100,000 kilometers with their Zero electric motorcycles. These “Legends” are not just users, but pioneers who have shown that sustainable mobility is as viable as it is exciting.
Zero Legends Club: More than 916,000 kilometers traveled and tons of CO2 avoided
In total, the members of this club have traveled more than 916,000 kilometers, which is equivalent to going around the world 22 times. And along the way, they have avoided releasing some 92 tons of CO2, making it clear that the passion for two wheels is not at odds with caring for the environment.
Reliability made motorcycle: first-hand witnesses
Those attending the event met some of the founding members, such as Daniel Montero, who has traveled more than 183,000 kilometers with his 2015 Zero S. Montero shares: “I chose the Zero S for fun and economy. With a gasoline motorcycle, doing 130 kilometers a day was expensive, but with the Zero, that is no longer a problem.” Furthermore, Daniel remembers his most daring trip: “Crossing Europe in 2018 was an incredible adventure, and the motorcycle has given me nothing but joy.”
Another of the pioneers, Jordi Roig, known as ‘Bit-amina’, with 192,000 kilometers on his 2018 Zero S, confesses: “I got tired of combustion motorcycles only lasting 100,000 kilometers and taking me to the shop constantly. With the Zero, revisions are minimal and serious breakdowns are a thing of the past.”
Zero Legends Club: Adventures on wheels and anecdotes to remember
At the event, Vicente Roque stood out for being the owner of two models: a 2017 Zero DS with 102,000 kilometers and a new 2024 Zero DSR. “I opted for a Zero because it allows me to save fuel, take advantage of the BUS-HOV lane and charge the motorcycle at work. During Filomena’s historic snowfall, I went to work with my DS, armed with a shovel to clear the snow. Quite an adventure!”
For his part, Moisés González, with 118,000 kilometers on his 2021 Zero DS, explains: “Living in a rural area with poor access, I needed a maintenance-free trail bike. The Zero DS has been perfect, I practically don’t have to do anything to it, and it continues to perform at its best.”

According to Aniol Canet, country manager of Zero Motorcycles for Spain and Portugal, “The creation of the Zero Legends Club is a way to recognize those who trusted our technology from the beginning. These motorcyclists are true pioneers and ambassadors of sustainability.”
