Last November 2024, Honda presented in world first the Ev Fun Concept and EV Urban Concept. The first one responds to a sports NAKED model equivalent to an internal combustion motor (ICE) motorcycle (ICE) of size and it seems, in just a few weeks the Japanese firm could have a final version of it. That is at least what we deduce after his latest teaser video published in one of his social networks.
Honda Ev Fun Concept: Destination 2050
After that first staging, Honda described the Ev Fun Concept as “The first Honda electrical sports model that is being developed as a next -generation electric motorcycle and offers a new feeling of driving, turn and braking”. It highlights in its configuration a compact chassis where its fixed battery is also integrated.
The latter is compatible with a fast CCS2 charger (the same standard as cars) and has developed to optimize the balance between light weight and fast charging performance, as well as to provide a cruise autonomy of more than 100 km, sufficient for urban use.
Now, after the publication of the Corporate Video of Honda, where we can the Ev Fun Concept with a “camouflage suit”, the Japanese brand details in a fleeting way some of the technical aspects that seem to be part of the final configuration that will wear the model, pointing to the Next September 2 as the indicated moment in which its final version will be presented before the public.
Among these equipment attributes and technical configuration, I would highlight a curve LED light equipment that transversely travels the front of the motorcycle. Also a stylized sculpture monobrazo or a resounding TFT instruments.
As already happened with the first version of the model shown in the Milan Hall, it seems that relevant aspects such as the design of their aluminum alloy wheels or the front suspension system commanded by an inverted fork are remained unchanged.
In technological terms, the EV Fun Concept is expected to have, among others, navigation, driving modes and energy management. Regarding the provision, there is talk of a final power Between 34 and 45 hpwith a maximum estimated couple of some 60 nm. Figures that would position it at the level of combustion models of 250 to 500 cc.
In addition, its design should be able to recharge its battery package in an approximate time between 45 minutes and one hour, being able to travel distances that in any case would not exceed 120 kilometers.
